My neighbour just had her baby girl early this morning. She went into labour around 3a.m and she's already back home since 9a.m. She's a ftm.
I pray mine will be so simple and fast like hers too.
I'm also a ftm... Edd Feb 17th 2020. Gender unknown yet.

Happy new month to all the beautiful mamas. I was team November but October umbrella caught me. My EDD was 18th November but was scheduled for cs operation against 4th November due to the fact that I have done 3 previous cs operations making this the 4th operation.
On Wednesday 30th, I was contracting and having serious pelvic from midnight but by afternoon I could not manage the pain anymore so I headed to the hospital. The doctors and nurses were worried; planning for the worst and expecting the best. The preparation for the operation was rushed to avoid any uterus rupture. I was wheeled to the theater and within 5 minutes my baby boy came out screaming out loud. To God be the glory everything went well and no problem was encountered.
I'm really grateful to God for this beautiful addition to my family. Baby and I are doing super great. I'm now official mama boys, their wives will be my daughters.
To those expecting this kind of beautiful gift, your time have come receive fruitfulness. And those that are pregnant I wish you all safe delivery and none shall cast their young in Jesus' name.

Congratulations Mama boys, no be small matter o. I pray for speedy recovery

At this point, all my mother wanted was for the surgery to go well. She and the other nurses began begging my husband to let it all go and conserve his energy into praying for me and the baby to be well.
Hearing my mom spoke, my husband calmed down. Soon, the second Doctor came and I was taken into the theater. At this point, l was so cold my body began to shiver. Told the doctors that I'm very cold and they said something will be given to me.
An injection was given to me and I passed out. By the time I regain consciousness, I heard a baby seriously crying and my husband telling my mom that I'm finally coming through. The pain on my stomach was unbearable. In my semi consciousness, I could see and hear my mum and husband trying to feed my baby because she was really crying. The surgery was over at past 11 pm that Sunday.
So many other things happened that I don't even want to talk about it here. To be honest, I regret going to that hospital. I wished I had gone to a general hospital. For instance, my CS was done vertically and not horizontally. My baby drank water in the womb and she sometimes fight for breathe. My mom and I complained tire but the nurses said she was well. When I insisted for a test to be carried out, it was discovered that she was ill. It pains me to see my little girl in pains. She has been placed on medication. As I'm talking, we are still at the hospital and have spent almost 100k already.
This hospital was supposed to be the best in this town-or so I was told.

By the way, as for that unprofessional nurse, iI heard a query would be issued to her. She wasn't even free with me. My husband wanted challenge her but decided against it. After all, it would change nothing.
So many things happen that made me question my decision to have my baby at that catholic hospital. There were many mistakes. They forgot to write down baby's weight and so on.
As I'm typing this, I feel so down. If i[b] had listened to my husband and not register here, all that had happened may not have happened. [/b]
Mothers to be, learn from my story. If you are discharging too much water, don't just sit at home, take action.
So sorry my BS was long. My battery is almost down but i had to quickly write it. Will come back later to edit this.

I wish all expecting mothers save deliveries. May God save us all from careless nurses and doctors. It can really be a nightmare.

Congratulations Tiffany, You did your best, there's no BUT in it period! You need your sanity for the CS recovery and your precious LO. That child is strong and a survivor, she will pull through. When that guilt thought creeps in, tell yourself you did your best.

Pls FTM in the house, when contractions starts, open your mouth and breath out until it's over. Pls don't shut your mouth. When u hold you in, it causes labour not to progress and causes water to gush out. Its more like pushing back/in the baby. That was my mistake besides the cord thing. I progressed to 7cm and stayed like that till morning. And again it's not about going to private, general or church hospital, cos if some mothers tell you about their experience in these hospitals, you would think twice. Is just God period(pray for the right doctors and nurses to be available) that the mother and child made it alive that's all that matters.

Finally Some hospitals are so daft, this is what they ought to tell every FTM in labour when admitted

I later got the dryer this afternoon. That one I was talking about is evergreen, they said it's the best in the market for now. I got it for 12k there is LMV for 9500 too and other small ones ranging from 5k to 7k if you are buoyant enough please don't go for those, I wish I added money that time to buy this evergreen. Happy shopping

You can use 5mls or 10mls syringe depending on the size of your nipple. Cut off the top and attach it to your nipple, withdraw it back as if you're withdrawing injection. Hope it helps

Have the same, was told to apply Olive oil around the nipple and continue pulling it out. But didn't work for me as my nipples still keeps going in, even after breastfeeding ds for 1yr n 6months
What I did then was always try and pull out the nipple when I wanted to breastfeed, altho it's better than b4 but it's worse now that I'm not breastfeeding, the whole thing just goes in esp the left breast

Thanks ma for the response I have done the olive oil thing and applying of Vaseline it still keeps going in.don't just know what to do again

Good evening Mama's in the house, finally I have decided to come out from my peeping mode to officially register.
Am a ftm and so far so good God has been faithful through this journey except that my doc complained my pcv is low 28%.
Am team March 2020.

Congratulations to all the Mama's that have birth their lo and to all the belleful Mama's happy bumping.
