I believe the war in came as a result of Satan's jealousy of Christ kingship over all... It started with him trying to kill Jesus in the book of revelation where it was recorded that at the point of Christ being born, he waited for the delivery so that Christ would be terminated bit the Bible recorded that immediately Christ was born, he was taken up by an angel while Satan in his anger released flood at the woman to drown her but was given wings to fly to a wilderness..

When Allah want to created Adam angels they too know all as God so they complain on creation of Adam but God did not answer them, but when God finished creation of Adam Allah thought him knowledge that angel did not know, and God call angels and Adam to tell him names of somethings but angels can't mention those things name but Allah command Adam and he said Adam should tell angels names of those things and Adam told them, and Allah said I know all but angels know nothing, and he command angels to pustrate to Adam, not because Adam is God but because they said what they don't know so Allah use that pusration to punish angels not to doubt Knowlegs of God, but devil Refuse to bow tho devil is also part of creation in heaven and he stay among angels, so God said devil what stop you from bowning down? He said am he can't bow because he was created from fire and Adam was created from soil so he stronger than Adam, so Allah say devil you are curse from today and he told Adam that devil is his pure enemy and he should not take devil as friend. That is short story from what happened between God,adam,devil, and Allah said in Quran that human beings are the best creatures of Allah,
