His friend and mentor who left here this morning just turned down a 250k monthly job after going for just two days and before that he was the backend guy at naijajobs also 250k. As for me, I have never been interviewed before even though I have submitted my resumes in so many companies around Lagos both offline and Online....

So far as I know from my experience, this is the path to follow

These three should occupy you for a up to three months. Use thenetninjas youtube channel for tutorials. Check my thread on javascript and get the book.
After you pass through these you'll start with stuff like mySQL, databases, asp.NET, node.js. Dont let these distract you. The first three is where you should focus on for now

Went for an interview in one of those(NIPP) National Integrated power project in Edo state
And after the interview i was employed that same day
Even when the interviewer asked do you smoke
I said yes but i smoke the other one

But now i don't go for interview anymore

After that NIPP job. Went for my admission and Uniben changed my destiny. They gave me computer science. Started teaching me old programming dog shiitt like Fortran and Pascal
I managed to finish with so many F and D
I Saved some cash and bought a system
Met my real niggarrrz for tools and format and i learnt how to change internet protocol from static to dynamic

And i started bombing

A week later I was in a danfo in my way home when they called. They were offering I think 150 and I was like nooo I had asked for 200. ( I had taken the risk of saying my salary was 100k when it was 50k)

Na so the woman basically say guy , don’t make us call your office to ask your salary . I jejely aligned.

You can’t be forming 100k salary from danfo after all. And for any of my stalkers from certain threads, this was in 2005

thanks.... there are few motivation out here... I easily get bored learning alone... I used to have a my own web design website.. Site was great.. I even had people here rate it for me... Gigs were not forthcoming... I had to forgoe it.. When the domain expired..... I'm surprised your guys are seeing gigs like this.. Rejecting some even.... I would like to know what they do differently...
