According to this uber Driver, he shared his experience about one of his passenger who forgot his dirty wallet with #85 in it, praizenews report.

The passenger apparently ask the uber driver to bring it down to his place or else he will report the driver to uber company.

I dropped a guy off at ikorodu and he called me an hour later telling me to check my car for his wallet. I found it. Then he said i should bring it back to his place in ikorodu. But after taking a good look at the wallet & it’s contents, I refused and told him that I will rather send him N200 credit to compensate for the cash in the wallet. He got angry and said he was going to report me to Uber. I don’t want to go back because he has already made it clear that the expense of driving back to his place is on me

Maybe the wallet brings him Goodluck that's why he wants it back but for him not to be able to afford expenses of the uber driver bringing it back means he's broke

The driver is not looking to make a gain. He just wants the owner to pay the normal fare for delivering he lost property

Sometimes it's not just about the property or it's content , it's the history behind it .

I have one particular bag I always carry , it's getting old but I always go with it everywhere because that bag has a streak of goodluck behind it .

The Uber driver shouldn't have brought this to Twitter and the guy shouldn't have asked for his property to be delivered without pay .

This is something they should have settled like two sensible adults without chasing social media clout.

I'm a Nigerian and I know we can be funny but unless it was the driver's fault, I don't think a sane Nigerian will insist the driver brings his worn out wallet to him free of charge, especially when the Money in there is less than N100.

the passenger wants his wallet back, and it is obvious he dosnt wanna pay...abi if na you, you fit pay for this kind wallet?

People get attach to material possession. My wallet is over 3 years old and I have been hesitant about changing it. So the driver is wrong for suggesting a #200 compensation for the wallet and the #75. That wallet is probably worth a lot to the Mr. Wallet owner and if that's the case then he should be willing to pay for the logistics involved in getting his wallet back.
