ba7man: Actually u are wrong. There are more ghanians in Nigeria than Nigerians in Ghana. It is just that Ghana has a smaller population in comparison to Nigeria that makes you think we are more. Go to cities like Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt, Ghanians have a visible present and even speak pigeon so u may not easily identify them, unles they tell u. In my School the girl that sat next to me was Ghanian and a very wicked maths teacher was Ghanian. I know becos they told us 1 Like |

If Nigeria has a functioning Government, wat does it take to build a new market with a capacity to accommodate all the Nigerians traders in Ghana? Nigeria have the money. Does Nigeria need to have embassy in every country? Simply call back the Nigerian mission to Ghana after ensuring the safe return of our citizens. I did not say expel Ghanians or harm them, just leave them and see wat they want to do next. |

FemiMaduka: God bless you, FemiMaduka! I have always told Nigerians that the hype about Ghana is completely misplaced; it is beyond hyperbole. I suspect that Nigerians who idolize Ghana are those who do not travel outside of Nigeria regularly. Ghana, and in particular, their capital (Accra) is comparable to Minna, Asaba, Abakaliki, Oshogbo, and other Tier-2 state capitals in Nigeria. Anyone who has visited Ghana between 2009 and as late as last month will agree with your honest assessment! I have visited Accra, Tamale, Tema, and a few other towns (I can never address them as cities) in Ghana. The entire economy of Ghana is at the mercy of IMF/World Bank! These two notoriously 'apartheid-loving' Bretton Woods institutions assist Ghana to pay salaries of their civil servants! That is the country my ignorant countrymen are hyping for nothing! Nigerians, especially the youth, should read wide and travel wide. Nigeria might have been a huge disappointment, on the basis of unbridled corruption of our greedy leaders over the years; however, a lot of the countries in Africa we idolize are worse than shit-holes! 5 Likes |

he border was closed in August 2019 to prevent the smuggling of products from neighbouring West African countries. Many trucks have since been stranded at the Seme border. Over the weekend, the Nigerian government announced that the restriction would remain till January 31, 2020. If Buhari intention is to close border during Christmas and reopen after Christmas, then thunder will fire him. That border should remain close, indefinitely. To wat end is reopening border on 31 Jan 2020, wen u might as well open 31 Nov 2019 ahead of Christmas festivity. It will take more than border closure to convert Nigeria to a muslim country. |

there is a misinformation going round in ghana , that nigeria closed her borders against ghanians , IT IS ONLY THE ENLIGHTENED GHANAIAN THAT KNOW THAT THE BORDER CLOSURE IS TOTAL AND NOT ONLY SPECIFIC TO GHANAIAN . many that i have spoken to believe Ghana alone was singled out . i=you have to start explaining that it is actually against benin and that the effect just happened to spill over to ghana 1 Like |

leathalbeast:lol Ghanaians. Big mouth for so little. If i ask you to tell me one thing Nigeria gains from Ghana, you can't. You guys have not contributed or impacted Nigeria in anyway. RTSC:tell me why we invest? Isnt it so you can make profit? .you think all those Nigerians investing in Ghana are doing a charity work? I dare them to sell their investments and leave but they won't coz they need us more than we need them. BTW that perception that Ghana will be in trouble if Nigerians pull their investments is laughable because China is very happy and ready for you to go so please leave 1 Like |
