This will be my last reply to you because I can sense you are not very logical. And I am not trying to sound condescending.

If you read me well, you'd see where I said that aside the heavy involvement of Britain, U.S., U.S.S.R. etc, even smaller nations significantly helped the Nigerian federalists. Egyptian pilots were flying Russian MiGs for the NAF.

Biafra never had an army in the real sense. What it had was largely the remnants of what fell to it upon secession--former Nigerian army division, officers and men, and their ammunition and materiel.

I am not sure Nigeria has the resources to prosecute a full blown war against a prepared and independent state. The Biafran officers were basically renegades and rebels, but they still held off the federalists [with all the support Nigeria got from the superpowers] for thirty [30] good months! It was an internal rebellion!

If you doubt my assertion that Nigeria is not in a state to prosecute a war against an organized, independent state, just check how it has faired against ragtag Boko haram--ten [10] years and BHT is still holding expansive territories within Nigeria.
