That's not how the world works. I'd say the government in Nigeria and abroad causing much of the poverty that exists are worse. I'd say the foreign companies robbing Nigerian wealth are worse. Before you talk about the struggling, starving, oppressed, hopeless masses, talk about all the criminals contributing to and benefiting from their misery. Fallacy of hasty generalization. It's not a poor people's thing, a significant number of 'people living in Nigeria' will take advantage of you whenever the opportunity is there. From the FG(see the way minimum wage is being dragged), the rich, the middle class, SARS, DSS, Religious leaders down to the least poor person. Being good or evil has little to do with financial status but the person's humanity. We have seen really wicked wealthy people and poor people that return lost fortune, the whole community even call them idiots. When you say “Nigerians are wicked”, may I ask if you are excluded? Are you are foreigner? If not then you are wicked too by inference since you are a Nigerian. You said that you chipped in a word with your family concerning the boy’s education and they were willing to help pay his university fees. Does it then mean that kind people are only found within your family and other Nigerians are wicked? Let it be said and known to all that some of the best people in the world are found in Nigerians. You may just take your time to find out. Poor leadership brought this country to its knees and built mistrust among the people. Nigerians are very friendly and quite willing to provide help. When you talk about the poor, you must not generalize it. How do you define the “poor”? Are you referring to the beggar on the street or the gateman/houseboy who works with you and other people? What qualifies one to be poor? Do you know that a lot of the so called “poor” gatemen, cleaners, drivers, House helps, etc earn salaries higher than the so called bank workers?
