My advice...

Before you position at the airport, try and check if there's any incoming flight before going there, so you don't waste your time and money

There are some sites that help you know incoming flights and with that, you can decide if going to the airport to park is worth it, or not

You'll be fine... And another luck I know is, if you see Delta Airlines arriving, or has arrived, just know you're going to the island wink

My trip there wasn't deliberate, it was a taxify trip that took me from ikeja to the airport and the rider asked me to go in straight to the parking lot which i did and i thought i would hit a Jack point.
Stayed there for 30 minutes on a destination trip to Lekki which didn't come through until the App told me to either go offline or stay online without destination trip, 5 minutes later, i got a trip to VI and i was expecting a jackpot (4k upwards) only to be given 2800 naira for a 28km, 70mins drive.
Taxify una fada yansh. Local man wan sleep small

Greetings to all the senior men and women in the house, observers, sarcasist, and fellow rookies.

All protocol duly observed.

I have come to humbly seek your opinion and advice for my present situation.

I drive a toyota matrix and recently been having noises around the front wheel area. Went to do a full inspection on the leg region and the mechanic wan send me back to the village with crazy billings.

After inspection, the car was diagnosed of the following problems cry
*shaft*
*front shock*
*back bushing*
*stabilizer linkage*
*2 engine seating*

Abey my ogas, make una help me with an estimate of how much it will cost to resolve these issues.

I thank all of una.

Bro I know you are still wasting your precious time working on 20% thinking it's better than the 25%. I am only advising you for enlightenment sake since 25% down to 3% is the lesser evil at the moment.
Now I have till Sunday to make more while you are still on 20%. Meanwhile, I have GROSSED 28,000 going by the way taxify deceives drivers by displaying gross instead of net (thinking you are earning more). Follow the train while it's still available.
Meanwhile I didn't earn much last week because I was dis-organised when 30 trips notification came.

Tunlapapa, I understand what you're getting at but not everybody would be a fan of uber. I did it for a week with my brother's car and their fares are extremely low.
Can you imagine a destination trip from Maryland to victoria island with that traffic on 3MB comes out at 2300 naira on a 25% commission despite fare review but taxify would pay me between 2800 -3000 naira on 20%.
Now tell me which one would you rather chose?
Moreover, Uber patronage is more on the island, that's why i usually blow empty to ikoyi sometime before I could get a trip. The 3% is fantastic but not everyone would be lucky to do 20 trips before Wednesday of a new week.

Lol

I think you are expecting so much from the fares. The fares are not big. That's why the person that ordered you, ordered you. Or is there a difference between your car and the airport taxis? grin

Manage bro. Hustle trips. And God go dey bless your hustle

Bros, i thought the Airport trip is the real deal but my trip from Int'l Airport to Kofo Abayomi, Victoria island was 2800 naira with light traffic at Oshodi to Anthony bridge, Adekunle (3MB) and TBS linking Bonny camp.
To make matter worse, taxify no add my 500 naira parking lot toll to the fare .
How Cooladex and luxurydriver con dey make the money from Airport trip, i no understand.
Most times I take trips out of the airport on uber. It's far more better

The last time I drove on Taxify..... If you set a destination, after some minutes, maybe 15 minutes, the app either tells you to go offline or set the destination again, or cancel it. So how can you accumulate hours doing nothing?

And secondly, like I said, even if he isn't driving, he's awake to keep setting destinations. At least, he isn't sleeping

And did you see he did 439 trips last month? An average of 14 trips daily for 30 days?

Okay oh

Bro leave story.

Taxify(bolt) need to fix their app. It’s too basic.

Your reply doesn't even have anything to do with my post. Did I ever argue your earning here with you or argued bolt's 25% is better than uber's 3%/20%?
I guess you're mistaking bro.
Anyway, peace.

How hustle?

Good luck and more earnings sir.

Seconded, waiting for the thorough analysis.

Taxify just use random name and statistics to deceive the hardworking drivers to push themselves to death.
Imagine that as their benchmark?

So una no know say Taxify drivers wey dey run shift on one car dey? One works in the morning and the other works at night? And the one that works in the monring is the one that has the driver account.

Now this is the mistake I pointed out, you neglected the fact that Uber displays after commission deduction but taxify displays you money PLUS THEIR MONEY lipsrsealed.
Uber charges 11/min, base/200, km/60
Taxify charges 10/min, base/200, km/65.
Now tell me how you can get a difference of hundreds using the same trip as a case study. Taxify's Km is only higher by N5 which 20km can only give you N100 extra.
Now tell me which one would you rather chose?
Moreover, Uber patronage is more on the island, that's why i usually blow empty to ikoyi sometime before I could get a trip. The 3% is fantastic but not everyone would be lucky to do 20 trips before Wednesday of a new week.
I am only making you to understand more about this work. I knew when you started and I knew about your ford devil.
I also work from the mainland, starting from Ipaja. You don't have to blow to island to get trips, driving towards surulere, onike, yaba, unilag is your best bet. And lastly, there is no platform that is prone to short trips while luck decides your day.

Exactly what someone Postulated... Saka or induced!

It is common place these days especially those that has swore the car will die on their hand since their owner partner has declared war on their rental.

Don't mind them. I sometimes think taxify/bolt is franchised by Nigerian owners. I think some group of Nigerian went there to franchise or license the soul right of using there app because no foreign company(Multinational company) will do these
