I saw it last month and downloaded it again this week, I still didn't get the hype, it's just a movie about a struggle of a sick fellow, sometime I had to forward this laughing scenes, it's annoying...

That the story wasn't the Joker story you were expecting doesn't equate it to trash. And seeing as you can't grasp the concept of the movie, it's hard to take your criticism of Phoenix's performance with a pinch of salt.

The franchise should be laid to rest.Same goes for the terminator, Die Hard and Alien franchises
