Even at N5, it is a strong buy!

If it falls below, buy without pity/regret/fear

It is at multi year low. More than 10 year low.

In fact somersault into the stock now!

Sir, are you speaking in parables or seriously having regards to the last result?

A similar thing is playing out in UA**, FC**, AI***, UB* and TR*******

Is alright. wink cheesy grin

I have been a silent reader for many years who registered recently. I want to thank you for your many cogent analyses of stocks and recommendations which you present unequivocally and without ambiguity. I must confess that I have made money from following some of your recommendations which I acted on after carrying out my own due diligence. Thanks again, stay blessed.

You are not alone. There is widespread apathy for insurance stocks. Volatile profits and they are usually the first to succumb during market downturn.

...for saying that would be tantamount to assuming that every asset play has zero risk. No matter how well thought out or 'articulated' one might be, they can never completely avoid the thing about 'carrying risk' while playing any class of investment.
U can only mitigate it. ...because while ur knowledge and discernment can help u manage certain 'tangible' class of risk, it oftentimes may not help u avoid the weight that sometimes come with the 'intangible' ones.

So I dare say that none of us is immune to losing money.
Every investor knows that RISK is a necessary part of an investment circle.
...the fundamental thing is to ensure u interpret it well while relating it to REWARD so u can often stand a better chance of WINNING more and LOSING less !!
Along that line, growing ur investing STRATEGY to fit into ur INVESTMENT PERSONALITY, HORIZON and GOAL is KEY !!

Sir, are you speaking in parables or seriously having regards to the last result?

Like I explained earlier, sometimes a good company fortunes and fundamentals ( +stock price) will keep falling and so does the technicals.

After a while the technicals will be showing signs of a bullish recovery and sooner or later, the company starts to change some things(policies, working capitals, strategic investor etc) or other events will cause positive changes in the company which finally changes the Fundamentals.

So looking at the charts, PZ was last seen at N5 more than 10 years ago. And it is starting to halt the slide and take a reversal upwards. There could be more fall below N5 though but it needs to start a bullish trend.

Oh! Yes I am sir. The role allows me to impart people with proper knowledge about the financial markets.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing people hitherto clueless about the market become enlightened.

I am doing my bit as regards changing the narrative of Technical Analysis in the Nigerian financial market space.

All these people using methods that have been too long due for a change would soon be kicked outta the industry by these young ones I'm gonna be raising. If you aren't ready to improve upon the old knowledge base that you have, watch your back 'cos the new kids on the block are gonna unseat you.

Enjoy your day sir.

A simple advice: research your topics well before presenting them.

The VWAP has few holes in them. And the arbitrariness of a reference date invalidates the VWAP exercise (one challenge using it).

Oga mii,

what I do is NOT VWAP. I have said this time and again. I only said VWAP is kind of similar to what I do.

You can also go study about cumulative delta volume. It is also similar to one part of what I do only that I do not know how they obtain their volume at bid/ask.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by meshpips(m): 7:28am On Nov 15, 2019
@rabbidoracle,

you fail to acknowledge the fact that I was trained as an Engineer and have been properly grilled on how to design systems that are robust.

When I tell y'all that VAP works perfectly as a stand alone technical tool, many wrestle with boldness in my "claim"

Except and unless I take you through the little details, steps and processes taken to arrive at VAP, you would at best be thinking it is like one of those technical tools that you have ever seen.

Permit me to inform you that VAP is the coolest technical tool out there in industry for now. In fact, it is the next best thing that ever happened since someone discovered garri and groundnut.

I've gotta work now sir.

Enjoy your day!

U dey use ur head well !! wink cheesy grin

I recall I also highlighted a similar line(part in bold) to him here in the past.
I hope for his sake he also knows that;
1) The VWAP approach is not sensitive to trade size or market conditions.
2 ) Can be very misleading/unreliable when used in a highly volatile market environment.
3) Is usually effective only where there's low bid/ask spread, and tend to be erroneous/flawed when used with wide trade spread.
4) Is generally not good(has a very low precision) when used for large trades.
5) Excludes certain key drive... particularly market impact over time.

These are some of the reason why there's a higher chance that his N19 prediction on GTB will fail than come to pass. ...at least for now(current trend in view)

The problem with @ meshpips is that he seems to be engrossed in his technical analytical skill/ideas that he finds it difficult to detach them from reality.
...that's why he preaches certainty in everything he asserts.

I think he's good at what he does, but he needs to learn to isolate/discount his tech skill from certainty and align it properly with the trend at any given time.

Morning Sir. I stand by my words that you will not lose money. You only lose money in this market when you sell. If you bought Zenith Bank at 34 Naira and you have not sold you have not lost money. I have not lost money even in the face of diminution in the value of my stocks. Portfolio around 20% loss. The reason is that I have sold some stocks that have made up for the current loss. For instance my total investment now is 5k and the current market value is around 7k. This is in inspite of massive loss in UPL.

He needs to test his strategy to make money.

Where he doesn't make money, my dear, all na just talk but no substance.

We all have had what worked for us and we are still reaping from it till date, hence we stick to it.

If he understands his system and it still doesn't make money for, then he needs to rejig it or abandon it completely. But hubris is a dangerous attributes!

The truth is that you do not need complex formula to survive here on NSE.

A good knowledge of financial analysis + decoding 'behaviour' via technical tools will reap as much money, if not more, than those using advanced formula/algos.

Access that is flying has N2.55 as EPS for Q3 whilst UBA has N2.32. UBA is even more liquid in cash than Access Bank. So UBA is still a destination of choice but one should have bought since
