We can only blame the military who gave that kind of constitution and also PDP who failed to amend it because the PDP felt they will continue to be in power for life. The APC is just a beneficiary of the evil 1999 constitution laid down by the military and consolidated by PDP.
You have said it all.....
APC will do whatever it takes to remain in power no matter the number of heads that's gonna fall, This Country is literally doom for Life.

Well we had a certain fisherman with a PhD and his wife with a Master's..... remember how that was?

The greatest presidents did not need paper certificates to validate their capacity to lead.

This country is just funny. Primary school is enough to be president but difficult to get job with First degree without experience. Very soon nobody will need education to live in this country. Our judiciary is finished.

I am amazed you got so many likes. Lucky you.

The Judiciary doesnt write laws they only interprete them. The constitution is made by the legislature. The original constitution was drafted by an eminent group of lawyers and submitted to the legislature for approval. It is the legislature you need to address.

The should have just prepared this and put in their archives. Reasonable people know that Buhari is more than qualified to contest and he won the elections overwhelmingly. Wailers and haters however will never believe Buhari is qualified to contest elections no matter what happens.

Not only that.

The judicial precedents in Mohammed Buhari vs Obasanjo, Mohammed Buhari vs Yaradua and Mohammed Buhari vs Goodluck Jonathan laid a very very high bar on the plaintiff. The Plaintiff must show that any illegalities were of such a scale as to have changed the results in favour of the plaintiff. Irregularities are not enough to over turn the result. It must be on a massive scale and it must be proven ward by ward.

The lawyers who took Atiikus money should be disbarred or censured.

Electronic server, educational qualification was grasping at straws.

Following your trend...it means only economist should be leaders. Because historians and medical doctors are not necessarily vast in economics.

Truth is being a leader requires a person with character, integrity and the capacity to get others to do the right job.

So you noticed it too? Thought i was the only one!

They first got the answer (ie, Buhari 'won' the election fair and square) and then went back to work on the solution that would enable them arrive at that predetermined answer....basically, working back-to-front! shocked

In other words, the picture tendered by his classmates is enough for inec to certify him as being qualified. Very good precedence.

Stop goofing around. We all know he is eminently qualified going by the constitution, you dont need to pass wasc just a proof that you are educated up to secondary school level. However too many fake facts in your write up
1. Buhari did not pass staff college exam the reason you will not see P.SC affixed to his name even when he was military head of state. He was not awarded a force service star as well. He has never fought in an external war so I dont know where the Congo Idea came from. Also where did you get his medal of honour award in a civil war from.

2.The time he went to War College in America, they were not awarding any form of degree there.Just a certificate of attendance.

3.Masterminding is different from participating. You can read all about that in his Biography by John Paden

You are a bloody liar.
The eligibility and its interpretation clauses have been like that since 1999.

olisaEze:

Actually that particular amendment of legislation was sneaked in 2014 just before the 2015 elections Incase the PDP made noise about PMB’s qualifications. However, GEJ refused to contest the outcome and it only came in useful against Atiku in 2019. Na so these liars dey use our contri pipo head since, now he’s biting all of the fingers that helped him up! grin

For those of you quoting me.

The fact that a medical student started year 1 does not qualify him or her to practice medicine.

All I am saying is we need a process in Nigeria. The system is broken. Nigeria is the only place in the world where one needs a BSc to get a job as a truck driver but all you need to be a president is to set foot in a secondary school without completing or taking exams.

Olodo.

Is everything all about university education?

Perhaps you should have Bsc in political science to be qualified to lead your country.

So Buhari's school cert qualification, military training equivalent of msc degree and experience is not enough to be president, abi?

You better appreciate the difference between applying for the job of chief engineer, from that of contesting a political leadership post and stop comparing apples with oranges.

Nonsense!
