Sir, link me up with this kind of job please. I may not be interested in 'free' money, the monthly one would be ok for me. One more thing, I have certificate. Thank you Sir!
God, life is so unfair...kinda beginning to see reasons why people commit suicide The guy that sell PPE's to companies has no WAEC yet he makes a profile of not less than #500,000.....WHEN SALES/ ORDERS are low. You see the guys selling sharwama at 800/900 per wrap, if they tell you their profit margin......you may be forced to tear that your certificate. |

Wondering who still verifies waec results by only sighting the originals in this modern time, if he suspects anything in the result, he would have simply asked you to buy a waec scratch card for online and authentic verification. If it's not late yet, you can go back to him and suggest the use of waec scratch card to him. Lamination helps so much in the safe keeping of our documents. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I have never use my waec certificate because I have 2 deficiencies on it, so I have been using my NECO from different seating all this while.
NB
The Neco that I am using, I reseated it the following year after my secondary school graduation in an entirely different school. I didn't even bother to collect my WAEC original certificate from the school I graduated from.
Should I be worried?
Would they require my WAEC certificate even with the deficiency in the future?
I need answers pls
Every one knows that waec comes before neco Just go and collect the result deficiency or no deficiency, its the only prove you went to secondary school They are your results and your names are there It's even the deficiency tgat will prove to anyone that can it's the reason you registered for another exam and it must not be same school 2 Likes |

Bigbright7: Greetings to you my fellow nairalanders,
My heart is filled with tears as I type this because today, the devil used Mr Joel in the recruit department of workforce group to be the stumbling blocks to my breakthrough.
I went for an interview with workforce group gbagada, and during my credentials check, Mr Joel accused me of tampering with my D.O.B on my Waec certificate just because it was laminated and the ink looks faint. Mind you the D.O.B on my O'Level corresponded with my ID card and my birth certificate.
I tried to prove my innocence, but rather he chased me away from his desk, and that was how I lost the job as I wasn't interviewed. I almost cried right in front of everyone there, because I have been searching for a job for months now and this happened.
I don't know who needs to hear this but please, do not laminate your credentials, so that you can be able to defend the authenticity of it when your recruiters touch them.
A young man in the name of Ayo who also works in that department saw how downcast I was and walk up to me and encouraged me not to be troubled, that something big will come my way. Thank you Ayo for your word of encouragement. God bless you, I believe something big will come, and when it does I'll share the news.
Thank you too Mr Joel, you were only doing your job. Cheers

Believe me bro, it was a good thing you were denied the job. I had a very similar experience last month with a company I submitted some proposals to. I was pained badly, less than 3 days later , I got something way better than the one I was denied of. Each time I look back, I just smile and thank God for the earlier disappointment, cos I wouldn't have gotten this one if the other one had worked. You'll smile at last. Watch out. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Just an excuse not to give you the job, probably someone he knew also applied for the job. Just that you did better than that person. By eliminating you because of that trash, the coast was cleared for their preferred candidate. Why did I conclude like that? Because they could have employed you and requested for your statement of results from the WAEC or made you to do it. The statement would just be from WAEC to them. Simple 1 Like |

LongThickPenis:
There is nothing wrong with laminating certificate. The issue is it must be done well. a functional machine that heats well and ensure all edges are sealed and air tight. My certificate has been laminated since 1997 and in good, clear condition. Also keep it in a dry place Please and please, the negatives of laminating your certificates far outweigh the positives these days. Apart from the fact that most employers these days reject laminated certificates, studying abroad is also difficult with laminated certificates. Instead keep those certificates in clear water proof bags/folders. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Is it workforce job you are crying for? Bros don't trouble your self, keep searching, the work itself na nonsense work. You can finish that interview successfully and do documentations and you will not hear from them again. They doesn't worth the pain ,keep on applying to other places the Lord will see you through. No serious recruiter can disqualify you for such a flimsy reason, a lot of people have a different date from the one in their waec and they back it up with affidavit. color=#000099][/color] Bigbright7: Greetings to you my fellow nairalanders,

seanwilliam: baba what of if one wants to study abroad, is neco result internationally recognized? NECO, WAEC and NABTEB are of same level/standard in Nigeria. Some countries ( even in Africa) recognize it while some don't. You can have both to be safer. If one has up to 5 subjects in their exam( be it WAEC or NECO) collect it, don't leave it with your school, it may be useful. |
