The way I read it the day you had the both money can be your day 1 ..... if you dont have tuition and maintance either in your bank or partially paid day 1 never start ....

in your case you have both so yes your day 1 started Oct 30 is how I read it

It emphasizes on the money in the account. You can have your maintenance fee only in the account for 28 days and pay your full tuition to the school after the 28 days. (With money from a separate account).

As long as it is before CAS is issued and your CAS states that your fees have been paid in full. It doesnt matter when you paid it. The point of the 28 days rule is to ensure the money is truly available to you.

So definitely when you've paid your fees, it shows the money was available to you and you already satisfied that requirement.

And the only thing left to prove is that you've maintenance fee. Which you already counted the 28 days for.

I was told by my agent that ones I pay the my school fee next week I would be able to apply first week of Dec since I have my bank statement for 28days ready. Pls how true is this!! My agent directly works with someone in the school so I want to know if this is true.

If the money in your bank statement for 28days was tuition plus maintenance then I agree that yes if you pay your fees next week you should be ready to apply

Well there is a merit to this logic and it makes sense.... it's not stated like this if you read it word for word grin but it makes sense to me. However UK is tick box process.

Where did you see this?. Any official source

Wrong. It doesn't matter. If they pay the tuition and their CAS states that they have paid full tuition. They are good to apply with a bank statement that shows maintenance fee only.

It is on most universities' website. It is the money that you still need to pay that you've to prove you held in your account for 28 days.

That's what your screenshot even proves. As long as tuition has been paid and it's stated on my CAS, It's no longer part of the funds I need to show I have. It doesn't matter when I paid the money. All that matters is I paid it and I no longer need it.

1st step : You must be a recognised teacher from Nigeria and registered with Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

2nd : Pay and send your documents to UKNARIC for Statement of Comparability via https://uknaric.org/

How I understand it using figures let say maintenance is 10k and school fees is 10k... I need to show that in 28 days I have 20k either fully in my bank account or a part of it has been paid to the school

So if day 1 , I have 20k and day 18 it becomes 15k because I paid the school 5k that is fine. On day 28 I am good to go .....as long as during that 28 days 20k was either with me or the school .

If for example Nov 1st, I have 10k for my maintance only and my brother pays the school fees on Nov 16th... then my first day of 28 starts counting not Nov 1st when I had only maintance but starts counting Nov 16th when I can show 20k is either with me or a part has been paid to the school

No your 28days counting is still from Nov 1st because that 10K is all you need to show since school fees has been paid

In my own case the money for maintenance and the balance for the tuition is 9300+4,300k. Which is already saved in a separate account since on the 30th of October(last month)

Initial deposit of 5,000k will be paid next week from a separate account.

Do you mean the 28days will start counting from the day I make the payment of the initial deposit or when I have the maintenance and balance of the tuition fees ?

We need more contributions from the gurus in the house.

No your 28days counting that started on Oct 30th still stated even after paying the 5,000K.

Good morning everyone. So I’ve been on the University rankings for more than 2 days, trying to get an affordable prestigious school to apply to for a specialized MBA. It’s been crazy to say the least. The VERY prestigious, high up the ladder schools are outrageously expensive (for me). The ones down the ladder are not exactly very prestigious but affordable. The ones in the middle offer generalist MBAs & cost between £21,000- £28,000. Something’s got to give! Do I go for a generalist MBA in any of the prestigious schools in the middle & shun specializing for now, or do I go for just any school that offers MBAs in an area I’d like to specialize in? I’m torn. I’d appreciate suggestions mbok.

What your first degree in, what work experience do you have and how many years

I am still not convinced MBA opens any door in UK . .lol . I would rather do a masters in an area that you have relevant work experience

I have an MSc in International HR & 3 years work experience in the same area. Decided on an MBA because I was told I can only apply for an MBA or PhD. Something about showing progression. Why would you think it doesn’t open doors?

It will still be back to what areas do you have experience in ....MBA is not a job title or a job function

Dnt think that's true, I applied for a second MSC in a field related to my current job role and it went tru. The progression rule applies when ur applying from within UK. If u want to go for anoda MSC and can justify why u need d second MSC ur good to go

Must the Tuition fee money be in a separate accounts?
If I have both my full- tuition and MAINTENANCE fee in same accounts and pay my tuition before 28 days ends is there am implication?

2) does it matters if money keep entering d ACCOUNT inasmuch that it never go less than require 9,135 before 28days. Ofcourse, money wud enter if it's my business or salary account?

I think all the money should be in one account. the thing is it should not go below the stipulated amount within that 28 days.

@Lagosismyhome and all. I'd like to know/clarify for a person going for a 3 years PhD program, do such person need to have the tuition fee and maintenance (living expenses) in the bank account for 28 days for 1 year only and not for the entire 3 years or more than year 1(let say 2 of the 3 years) tuition fees and maintenance costs.
Thanks in advance!
