Our pirioty should be an Attacking midfielder with creativity not a striker who need service to score which we don't have.
Agreed. When we do sign one, can we trust AM or MR to give us 25+ league goals a season?

At 19, dude's a bully but more direct, pacy and an eye for a goal. He's got a better first touch too grin
For his height, he is quite fast and his dribbling technique is really good for his size. He plays in the Austrian Bundesliga some might say but then he hasn't looked bad in the UCL against Liverpool and Napoli.

What reason can be better than him coming in and banging in the goals?
the right work ethic and respect for fellow staff is equally important. we cannot afford any commotion and bitching from player's family members.

he look menacing in appearance, considering the league he's coming from I think £50m should work.

Aagreed. But abeg let’s see him in an unfamiliar environment and against difficult oppositions (or bus parking teams) and see how he performs.

Jovic was banging in goals at Germany but see how he’s not scoring goals every weekend at Madrid?

Calma calma abeg. He could thrive though, not ruling that out.

It easier to be a striker playing against Liverpool and Napoli in the UCL. There’s less pressure on you to deliver and it’s likely you’ll get good chances to score because the opposition will leave lots of space behind.

Playing bus-parking teams like Wolves and Burnley week in week out where they’ll assign two defenders to be monitoring you up and down the pitch is harder.

Salzburg is about the best team in the Austrian Bundesliga thus he most likely comes up against teams that sit back but his numbers are still good.

My judgement is on his individual talent (Strong, pacy and technical) though which I reckon will suit the EPL. A player like him will keep opposition defenders on their toes leaving Martial and Rashford with space to exploit. Rashford has benefitted greatly from the return of Martial as he keeps the CBs of our opponents occupied leaving him 1v1 against opposition fullbacks most times, the point here is that Martial isn't even your most imposing or threatening CF.

Let’s put a pin on the discussion about Salzburg and how they play in the Austrian league.

About his individual talent, I can’t give an honest opinion until I’ve seen him play a number of matches.

The first time I saw him was in the World Cup this year where he scored 9 goals vs Honduras. His team didn’t make it out of the group stage though ( after losing the previous 2- Uruguay & New Zealand) and he was the highest goal scorer of the competition.

He seems to be developing well in a familiar environment with the best team in the not so competitive league. The EPL is different.

I just haven’t gotten in on the bandwagon.

And yes. Radhford will benefit massively from a striker who keeps defenders occupied. We’re starting to see a different aspect to his games.

He’s been useless for us this past year, but maybe that is about to change. I seriously hope so.

At this point, clips showing his strengths (Ball control, spatial awareness, pace and strength) should do as we can't pass judgement based on the nature of the league he plays in but from what I have seen of him, if he develops the way he is going, he is going to be one of the best in the near future. I wouldn't mind of we took a punt on him.

If you saw Messi as a teenager on YouTube, you'd have seen the obvious talent, same as De Lima and many others. Some have flattered to deceive and it's with that in mind I said we take the risk that comes with young players like him...

What about afrodoc2 that judged Lingard as a great player, after watching his full matches?

It all depends on the the level of football knowledge of the analyst.

What’s the percentage of young players who made it to world class level after dazzling in youth competitions?

YouTube is not enough bro. Have you seen Lingard on YouTube? He dazzles and zazzlels.

There’s a way you can watch YouTube videos and identify how a player likes to play but it is never enough. YouTube won’t show you the character or determination of a player or how well he links up with teammates or positions himself.

Watching players on TV sef sometimes is not enough. You gotta go watch him on the pitch so you can see how his off-ball play is. That’s how you know who is intelligent or not.

From those videos, he doesn't look comfortable on the ball. Check that Dani Olmo of Dinamo Zagreb and you'll see why he's already been capped by Spain. His ball contr3, dribbling in tight spaces, eye for the pass and spatial awareness is top notch. He'll most likely be snapped up by a big club soon but we'll still be here waiting for the big names.

You can go to YouTube and watch the full match between Salzburg and Liverpool/Napoli.

Since Ronaldo left your team, none of your new players signed got the great football talent that Hazard has. How many of your mumu players was so great to have won the best player in the league award like Hazard? grin

Who told you this?

If you know your football well you will not only be looking at the ball in the highlights and you can easily check different type of highlights to form an opinion.

I only watched youtube videos of Depay, i told you'all back then that he would flop in epl.

Below was what i told your other scummy brother, about Haaland few days ago. Where i preferred him to be played as a winger.

airmark:
I was referring to his style of play, taking on defenders with mazy runs.

How many times did Haaland play as the point man for Salzburg like Abraham at Chelsea?. Without space he will struggle.
Nobody is saying youtube video is all in all, but it can only be useless to those without sound football knowledge like you.
