OMANBALA1:

Osimhen call to be included in the team was based on the premises of his status as a special talent not because he was a regular/average striker with potentials. We maintained from the onset he was a special talent like Nacho and Nwakali were once. Awoniyi never belonged to that class and you can see it once more by his shoddy display against SA.

Who takes your opinion seriously, huh?

Using special talents as an excuse tantamounts to substly prejudice and discrimination.

People don get sense pass dat yeye 'special talent' wayo.

Simple
iSlayer:

Tottenham's woes are not helping at all. However, you're right he has quite a challenge unseating those other guys but Dele is good too o and he has done well in England Colours.

The main point however I'm trying to pass is that Dele hasn't been "dumped". If he hits form he's automatically back in contention.

Haaland and Osimhen are strikers of similar class for now I believe.

Haaland is taller and mightier physically, has good pace and fantastic finishing. He is a giant. Reminds one of Zlatan and Andre Flo rolled into one.

Osimhen is tall, strong, rugged, and definitely faster than Haaland. His finishing too is fantastic. He is a workaholic beast. Reminds one of Drogba and Lewandowski rolled into one.

Both are exciting high yield potentials.

TheGoodJoe:

If Manchester United signs Osimhen, I can guarantee he will not get regular playing time over Rashford. That is how the English think.

By the way, I feel Haaland is a class above Osimhen. Time will tell.

Mujtahida:

The comparison is in respect of Osimhen's potential.

It's time somebody surpassed Rashidi abeg. If almost 20 years we are still stuck with Rashidi' s record, it means we are not making progress.

Every Nigerian kid has potential but it's not enough. So, it should not be used to bring some players into the National team as we have seen over the years in the name of'special talent'

Well, I am not against him surpassing it.

After the ban elapsed, I then tried to relay why it wasn't my fault and how I tried appealing via email about my ordeal....... Because the thread reached a milestone of 7676 pages, Which I tried to celebrate after regaining my freedom

Surprisingly!

I was hammered another 24 hours that just ran out around 12:27 am a while ago

Hope this little insight wouldn't put me into another round of yanking off for the next 24 again.

As poor as Jamilu Collins is,I'll still prefer him to Idowu. Idowu na confirmed carpenter. Having him on that left flank will dull our offensive play...

If Rohr can't get another left footed left back, then let's continue with Aina there....he is better than Collins and Idowu combined

Is that not what you people said about Aina? Most didn't rate him here.

Definitely a better finisher. Both not ready for a big club.
Haaland should go to RB Leipzig while Osimhen should stay another season at Lille.

Alhassan Yusuf is the future of Nigeria's midfield. The kid is not just a good player, he is actually gifted like Mikel in 2005.
Mark my words, he will still displace Aribo and Ramon Azeez in that midfield. Time will prove me right. The Sweedish have allready seen this and want to naturalize him.

he is likely to join man utd. current man united boss was his coach in norway and both have a good relationship. halland snr was spotted at carington few hours ago. the plan is to sign him hopefully in january but he will complete the season on loan at salzburg

yea you are right. i suggest rohr convert ejuke to an attacking midfielder in the national team to ease the stress a bit for alex until ebere eze decides.

another good option is ovie ejaria but that may happen before the end of next year hopefully

alhassan need to do more to get a look in. if possible a move to a better league will enhance his chances of getting a chance in the super eagles.

all these news are work of agents trying to force rohr and the nff to include him to the super eagles immediately. days are gone when players from obscure leagues paid their way to the national to in order to increase their value and chances of joining teams in bigger leagues.

wolves were serious of having him last summer while ajax were claimed to be interested as well

SMH wouldn't be a good move in my opinion. Lepzig would've been perfect for him at this stage of his career.
Anyhow he'll get paid more and a front 3 of him Rashford and James/Martial isn't that bad.

you are right but man untd management are focused on rebuilding the team with young unknown qualities rather than making the same mistake that cost them millions of pounds on established players who joined just to reap the club off.

the project in united currently is for the future which is the main reason solkjear is not pressured at the moment and most of the future investments will be on British young stars who will play for the badge.

the likes of sancho, overrated declan rice and longstaff, chilwill, madisson, rennes wizkid carmvinga, monchenglabach's swiss international zakari and haaland are their top targets for the next 2 transfers while bale may join in january on loan from madrid

Bros, as long as Lewandowski is on top form, Osimhen would be limited to cup matches and a few league starts...no matter his form.

That's the situation with KC and Vardy (who is also aging but is currently red hot)
For me, I would say that the Vardy = Kelechi analogy is not the right example. KC lost form and has since dropped down the pecking orders and Vardy has ever been in hot form.

For me, I would like Osimhen to turn up for Beyern. I think he will do well and have a better chance to become a regular if he continues working hard.

Just like someone also stated earlier, I think Italian league fits him. There are lots of technically sound teams that play great football over there. He should run far away from England to avoid his career stalling.

Not a bad idea but they definitely need to sack Ole.
I don't think he's the guy that should be in charge of such a project.
I heard they're after Ralf Ragnick... Would be a great move if true. Dude has done well with Leipzig.

Ragnick is to come in as a sporting director. the only coach linked to united of late is allegri

the problem with united in not the coach but the management board and the glazers family who are just after making money and knows little on taking a massive club of united's standard to the next level since fergie retired.

they are more focused on bringing in marque signings for the business aspect of the game where more revenues are brought in from the sells of shirts, souvenirs and monitoring the stock market every single minute.

for united to get back to its best the glazers have to sell the club while a good director of football should be hired to focus on the footballing aspect of the club while woodward concentrate on the business side.

this is one of the major reasons why spanish midfielder ander herera left the team citing that the club hierachy focus more on the financial aspect of the game rather than the sporting aspect.

also van gaal said that the difference between bayern and united is that the latter focus more on raking in revenues than equipping the academy with good talented young stars who will go on to graduate to the snr side in the future
