Who has the right to choice of songs please? Drivers or riders. Especially when such genre of music is distasteful to riders/drivers.

Like, I dislike Fuji music but a rider insists.

You didn't pay for a DJ grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin. Chineke nna

But for me, the rider has the choice to songs. When I was driving an elantra, I always offered the aux sef.

It's just for a while. When they get down, I change back to my Jay-Z, Buju banton or Tracy Chapman cool

If the trip fails, use the estimate from the rider’s app and do + or - depending on the traffic conditions.

Then do a review. Deliberately not reviewing and collecting the estimate from the rider’s app is cheating.

People don’t see it as cheating though. They see it as ‘God catch you’ because you lots are too vindictive.
Bros, just mind your business you hear grin

I go just blow go TMB, stop for Unilag waterfront, and drag her out of my car.

You will be surprised that she will turn the tables on you and scream kidnap or some such.

But can’t you use Truecaller to identify some of these people? Then do a wall of Shame or some such?

Before I know, 3 men Don jump inside. I no know whether make I decline trip immediately sad

But I dey fear say them fit strangle me, so I just begin drive without complain

Driving without complaining doesn't change their mind if their intention was to strangle you. If you feel unsafe you could simply turn off ignition, remove your key and step out of the car. Keep a distance and ask them to come down. Prepare to run fast just in case

All this one sided aguement I try to understand. I really do try seeing things from your side of the coin but I still just dont get it.
Where in the rule book engagement does it say "chances are you might loose your toll gate levy and fuel money due to our INABILITY to fix our app and we do charge you our full commission after review irrespective of the outcome?"
Bolt has no right to cheat anybody and I don't believe they feel they are cheating anybody by their actions cos it keeps happening. By you guys aguement I doubt you guys see any short changing either. Thats your side of the coin you guys see things from and it okay for you guys to follow the rules that way.
But if a rider decide to pay even a fraction slightly above the bolt app display amount and you called that cheating? Knowing fully well the outcome of bolt actions pertaining to cash fair review? Am not insulting anybody at all but I feel it just plain stupidity.
You obviously don't know where this argument is stemming from, but like I said, if bolt no favour you, drop am. No one is forcing it on you. Stop cutting corners, simple

Yea @ tojahh & Tyche

I just remembered an idea that came to my mind recently. Although some companies tried it in the past. It is about bringing marketing into ehailing cabs. Having screens to market products plus entertainment in Uber/Bolt/OCar rides. 'Our company' will be acting like a marketing/advertising agency. Modalities can be worked out if the idea resonates with what we want.
Why did they fail? That will be a good start

Is there no channel between drivers and Uber?
A simple solution would be for Uber to partner with a company with petrol stations. So you use a petrol station as an emergency stop if you feel unsafe. I think you guys need safe places where you can stop. I say I want to buy petrol, then drive in and shut down.

I want to find out please is it ignorance, lack of trust or intoxicatation of power that some of these owner partner is suffering from?

I entered into a partnership deal with my partner a senior personal in the army. When we were striking the partnership agreement by the help of the fleet management company I spoke of sometime ago, I new in me that these marriage will not be a smooth one, I will have to apply the highest level of emotional intelligence.

So I had these shaft sound had to go home and park then sent my partner a whatsapp message explaining the new development. The man came at me with a bad response, he is either feeling am lying to him to short change him of his weekly remittance which is due today. Using words that depicts a master slave relationship while in reality we are partners.

Am at a cross road, I had to call the management company (who offloaded him from the list of people they manage there cars because of these same attitude) and ask them how they manage these guy. Believe me the normal me would just transfer the money to him and tell him I can't continue with these partnership I wish to terminate it. He doesn't seem to want to listen, he flares up easily a normal trait I know is found in them but it's a partnership agreement. should I allow him to boss me around all in the name of trying to make it work or just go straight up and drop the car?

He is not in Lagos, and doesn't have anybody here as family or so. From the onset I told him I need his mechanic contact so he will acts as a third party to confirm all these repairs or faults am tell him about but he just looked for a way to wiggle himself out of that discussion.

He is saying we just spent one week money on the car on hub, tires and some other repairs I need him to fix, shey naaa me pray make the repairs come up? A tool used for work, to carry out or render transportation service will always develops fault now. Just tired and at a cross road.

These is what i have agreed to do. Once I send him the cash, I will send him Message in the night that I would like that his mechanic number so I can call the guy drive the car to him to confirm if the shaft is bad or not first thing tomorrow morning, if he doesn't produce it that am afraid i can continue with the partnership shikanah..

PS... If your all have another way thes can be remedied please let me know.

That's the right thing to do... And also make him understand that you can't afford to work in a partnership where there is no trust. Tell him you have taken the car like your own and have never harboured any ill thoughts ever and will never do such.
However, if he can't link you up with his mechanic or anyone who you can physically work with for peace to reign, then you have to call it a quit, as you value your self respect highly and won't afford to see anyone ruin the respect you have built for years.

Nothing like that yet...

The only thing i do is I take note of police stations when I drive during the day. So at night, if I feel unsafe(like that example I gave), I'll quickly think of the nearest police station I can remember

That particular day, an RRS point was what I had in mind around Oba Akinjobi way. But unfortunately for me, they were not there that night grin

Just checked some of the features of indrivers and I wonder why a lot of drivers don't patronize or promote it

1. Company commission is 0% for first 6 months. After that, 5-10 %
2. The app always shows pick up location and destination
3. Your rating won't be negatively affected for not accepting rides

Or these aren't obtainable from Indrivers Nigeria?
same goes for ocar too
