On the dreamapply website, you have the option to upload soft copies of your document. Normally, you have it scanned and saved on your system then all you need to do is attach and upload on the dreamapply system.

Secondly, for transcript depending on your university, there are different ways to get a copy for yourself. You can talk to those in charge to see if there is a way they can arrange that for you.

Hello Kabz, You're doing a great job here. God bless you.

Please, I want to ask a question.

Is it possible that someone can get an Estonian Work Visa without necessarily being a Student Visa?

As you prepare to travel to Estonia, some helpful tips.

Education is your primary aim. Other things are secondary. University will expel you if you do not pay tuition fee by deadline and your residence permit will be cancelled. You cannot abandon school for work.

You cannot save your first semester tuition fee in Estonia. Make sure to travel with it plus living cost for up to 3 months at least.

Residence permit takes up to 2 months to be ready. Without it you cannot work.

Treat malaria in Nigeria and also carry anti-malaria medicine with you to Estonia just in case you still have the infection. No malaria and hence no anti-malaria drug in Estonia.

Carry other essential medications. You cannot buy antibiotics, including Flagyl over the counter in Estonia. You need a prescription from doctor. No medicine for deworming in Estonia. Have a valid health insurance.

Having a visa is not a guarantee that you will be given entry into Estonia. Be polite to airport security staff. Prepare for the worst. They could search every grain of sand in your luggage. They could also request that you show them proof of fund from your ( or sponsor's) internet banking portal (not bank paper statement). It happened last year!

Starting price for taxis in Estonia including at airport are around 2.5 to 4 euro and every 1 km ride is around 50 cent to 1 euro. The price list is posted on the door of the taxi. Don't fall mugu for some drivers especially in Tallinn airport.

You can buy bus ticket to Tartu, Parnu and other cities from airport bus stop from 6.35 to 23.00 departure time (cost around 12 euro to Tartu).

EUAS students are required to inform their school before travelling out of Estonia.

I recommend you get your residence permit first before thinking of visiting your friends in other European countries.

Helpful to carry some grinded melon, ogbono, pepper (to my Yoruba friends, pepper no dey Estonia oo) etc. They are available but expensive.

Respect the culture and laws of your new country.

You're doing a great job here. God bless you.

Please, I want to ask a question.

Is there anyone currently processing an admission? I applied to Tartu health care college for masters and I have been told to expect Skype interview. Want to find out if any other person is currently processing admission in any school so that we can keep the thread alive. Remember, it will soon be time to apply for the almighty visa

Greetings everyone.

I've seen many complaints about how hard it is to get Egyptian visa to apply for Estonian student Visa. I have two questions that could actually help if I get positive response on them

1. China is easier to get visa to. Is there any restriction limiting us from trying to apply through China?

2. There's Estonian consulate office in Accra, Ghana. Don't they process student visa?

3. When admission is gotten, when is one required to pay tuition fee? Before visa application or after arriving in Estonia?

The only restriction is the cost. Yes, they have an embassy that can issue long term visa but one way ticket to China is about $900 so that makes it an expensive route.

they don’t.

3. When admission is gotten, when is one required to pay tuition fee? Before visa application or after arriving in Estonia?

it depends on your school. Information about it will be in clear terms when you are given the admission letter

This means the Chinese embassy at least gives student visa. What's the flight fee from here to India and Egypt? Let's do some comparisons and see if the price difference is worth it

Never seen or heard about anyone who got a D-visa from China. Apart from the cost you should also be careful not to go to a country where you will not be allowed to enter. From experience some countries won't let you get in once they know you are coming to get visa to another country. So if you are not a frequent traveller to China or not going for "tourism", I'll strongly advice against using that route. As for comparison an easy search online will show you all you need to know.

You'll need to have a useful profession ( like IT technician) to get permit to live and work here.

I think that you can't. This is too low for them. I asked from taltech and it seems that they are raising the requirements every year... they also require to pay the application fee 100 euros. so I don't recommend to apply there if you have second class lower or third class.

What's the possibility of one securing admission for a bachelor's degree program either in taltech or tallin university?

Also ,what are the chances of securing visa for a bachelor's degree program?
Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by slysite4real(m): 11:32am On Nov 26, 2019
I am convinced that Taltech admission, tuition waiver and scholarships are given on first come -first served basis. Submit your application on time!

Dunno about tallinn university, but taltech has these requirements:

When applying for a Bachelor's programme:

West African Senior School Certificate issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or Senior School Certificate issued by National Examinations Council (NECO)
Note: The Examination Certificate must include 5 subjects for at least result Credit “C4” (including mandatory Mathematics and English)

it also depends on the programme you want to apply. they have quite hard online tests , I have tried one

Not sure, I asked from them and they told me that only the best candidates will get the scholarships. My brother applied last year in the beginning of admission but still didn't get the tuition waiver.

You cannot know the best candidates until all applications are received and admission is closed.
Taltech offers admission and tuition scholarships on the go. They do not wait until application period is over before offering admission and waivers. I think they have a cut off mark you need to meet to get the waiver. Since tuition waiver places are limited then it means that you cannot get a spot when you apply late, if the waiver spots are already filled, even if you score higher than early applicants.
