Where are those geniuses that said he was never invited?

You do realize that he could have been invited for the games in the FIFA window. Ofcourse the club will not release him for the tournament but they have no choice for the games in the FIFA window,

the only reason you think like this is because you are not Igbo and you have been exposed to Western ideals. If you are Igbo, you cannot reason like this.

In Igbo land, women are viewed as chattel, to be passed on from their fathers to their husbands. Much like how English women were viewed in the Victorian era.

I am just glad my father had no such training, his mother was the first female graduate from the East, so, she was not trained to be a doormat. He is well aware of what a woman should aim for; he constantly tells us that marriage should not be the aim of anyone, rather, financial independence and self sufficiency. If you cannot be useful to yourself, is it in a man's house you will be useful?

I really really really didn't want to bring this up again but this is way too much of a slight. And to think I look at you as a sister. Lesson learnt.

And who are these so called intense and physical African countries? Bros this excuse is stale already. It is very lame to say the least.

I have moved on, I would rather not go back and forth eith you on this same topic.

And why are you tagging Omanbala? Is he the Eze Ndi Igbo for Nairaland? You both want to tag team me and ex-communicate me from your NL branch of Igbo association?

Like I said, you don't know me, I don't know why you are looking at me as sister. You were gladly mocking and attacking me yesterday, and now want to bully me today again, I hope this is not how you are with your sisters.

The draws will happen in January with the current FIFA rankings and it's impossible to be in those pot as Angola and Kenya may fall in the same pot

Chriskels, for the purpose of getting more female followers, next time, please, show your girlfriends this picture of Chima, it is better than that one you showed me.

I don't know what kind of pretty boys Rohr is trying to recruit in our defence. Imagine a back four of this guy, Ekong, Awaziem, and Ebuehi, is he trying to seduce attackers into releasing the ball?

How can the defense be prettier than the forwards? How did we go from Taye Taiwo to these guys?

Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo has made a quick recovery from injury, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The central defender had been rated highly doubtful for CD Leganes trip to Sevilla after he suffered a muscular injury in the closing minutes of the 2-1 loss to Barcelona last weekend.

The good news is that the Super Eagles star trained without any discomfort at ID Butarque on Friday morning.

However, it remains to be seen if he will be included in the starting line-up by manager Javier Aguirre for Sunday afternoon's clash at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán (Sevilla).

Omeruo's 2019-2020 campaign has been blighted by fitness concerns, which made his miss games against Villarreal, Levante, Mallorca and SD Eibar.

The other game he didn't feature was the opening day clash with Osasuna, where he was an unused substitute, because he returned to the club late following international commitments with the Super Eagles at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Chidozie Awaziem has no injury worries and is in contention to travel with the Leganes squad to Andalusia.

Arsenal down the history lane have forged a reputation of nurturing Nigerians from their Hale End Academy to first team materials, and that trend is unlikely to end anytime soon.

Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi and Chuba Akpom are just some of the illustrious names that have gone on to bigger things after starring for the club's youth sides.

With the departure of Unai Emery and the installation of caretaker manager Freddie Ljungberg on Friday, one will expect the Swedish gaffer to blood in some of the starlets he has closely worked with into the senior setup.

Prominent among these ones are Tolaji Bola, Joseph Olowu, Folarin Balogun, James Olayinka and Arthur Okonkwo.

So we present the reasons why they are primed to benefit from the promotion of the 42-year-old who will take charge of first team duties for the time been,

Ljungberg is more a mentor to these starlets: Ljungberg will want to take these players under his arms, as he knows what it means to them to make senior debuts at the Emirates Stadium.

Moreover, most of them do take him as a role model due to the legendary status he carved out for himself at the club during his playing days.

He has first-hand knowledge of their capabilities: The Swede started out his managerial career with the club's U-15s in July 2016 and was serving as the reserves manager up until he joined the senior backroom staff.

Having observed at close quarters these young players during his time in the academy, he knows best what they can produce and when to unleash them.

It will be a big achievement on his side to produce a young player who goes on to become an integral part of the team: Despite Emery's shortcomings and stiff-necked approach to managerial tactics, one of the unhidden successes of the Spaniard's tenure was the production of youngsters the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson who have all established themselves as important figures in the senior team.

Ljungberg will attempt to take a leaf out of his books and make his mark in that regard, and it will be one or two of these Nigerians who benefits from it and breaks through the ranks next.

17 year old Nigerian forward Peter Olawale has received a firm offer from German second division side Greuther Furth, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

In a letter dated 28th of November, the German club invited the left footed forward for a 20 day tour and training at their facility from the 7th of December. They say they want the player that long in order to evaluate him at their facility.

Olawale scored once for the Nigerian U17 team that failed to go past the round of 16 at the recently concluded U17 World Cup but his all round play has impressed top clubs around Europe according to reports gathered by our editorial team.

The player and his management team are yet to accept the offer from Greuther Furth as it came at a time where they are also considering a similar offer from two Dutch teams and about three teams from Belgium.

A decision on if the player will take up the offer will be made by his management team ‎but it’s clear that they are open to doing a deal with the club that will be best to build the career of the forward who is nicknamed “Nigeria Aguero” by his teammates.

I just felt like this lad was treated unfairly especially by the media. I hope he proves everyone wrong.

We had the same problem with Obinna Okpala in Nigeria 99, who I think is related to former Super Eagles Sylvanus Okpala.

He was a left full back and there was uproar in the media about him not getting selected on merit. I think that forced the coach not to play him, I think on the last day when we were going out to Mali at Enugu Liberty Stadium. He was given a cameo appearance and was absolutely brilliant.

Nigeria's Leading Scorer In Europe 2019-2020 Season Hopes To Return To Netherlands
Partizan Belgrade striker Umar Sadiq is hoping to return to the Netherlands before hanging up his boots.

The former Nigeria U23 international spent the second half of the 2017-2018 season on loan at NAC Breda and was successful at the club, scoring 5 goals in 12 Eredivisie matches while setting up three others.

Sadiq is also enjoying life in Serbia with Partizan, netting an impressive 10 goals in 14 matches, making him the top Nigerian scorer in Europe for the 2019-2020 campaign.

Speaking to FOX Sports ahead of Partizan's Europa League match against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday evening, the Rio Olympics bronze medalist said : ''I am now 22 and came here when I was twenty. I learned a lot here. Hopefully I will return someday, but you can never say it in football''.

On why he didn't extend his stay at NAC Breda, Sadiq explained that the decision was out of his hands.

''It is certainly not easy. As a young boy you try to pursue your dream. I played well at NAC, but I had to respect my contract.

''It is not easy for me, but I have to keep going. Hopefully I can go on a day settle down and be who I am,'' he concluded.
