Depends on you status. Are you a student or a blue card holder. As a student, blocked account for your spouse will suffice but I don’t know much about blue card holders

Na wah O...how do you answer this question by the Consular officer "This work you want to go and work for your company in Germany, for how long? "

Good evening to everyone.
I have a case at hand, and really need truthful tips on how to handle it.
i am actually heading to Germany for my MSC and i have gotten my visa approved but there is one clause I have been battling with which is the blocked account of 10236euros before my visa would be issued to me, i have been able to raise 6000euros now on my approval mail I got from the embassy I was given till 5th of December to forward my block account confirmation of the above complete sum and other documents.

Please i really need a truthful advice on what i can do. Thanks in anticipation

on scholarship. It's just a case of having a bad visa officer. A very friend on scholarship in another Landratsamt did family reunion for his spouse with two children and was asked only to provide just one blocked account in addition to his scholarship. My advice, avoid Landratsamt Fürstenfeldbruck in Bayern, those guys are pure racists!

Normally if you are on scholarship especially DAAD. You can request for an invitation letter.
That would suffice the requirement of the Block account.

if you are on DAAD scholarship you will be given invitation letter, the letter states your monthly stipend and what DAAD will add if your family eventually arrived. If you aren't a DAAD scholarship then, there is nothing like invitation letter. The visa officer ordered him to block 7700€

Since the Invitation letter always specify the amount to be paid to your spouse monthly.

my spouse applied on August 1. fingers crossed for good news this week IJN - Amen. however, I am worried the way the embassy do not follow this in order. It seem to me that if you ever write the embassy concerning the delay, then OYO is ur case as they will skip your name. I may be wrong on this too

duration before getting the visa is case dependent. the wife of my colleague got her visa after 2 weeks of interview. Seen others who waited 6 - 8 months. However, the normal procedure is that a lawyer visits any of your referees or even you to obtain infomation about you. So make sure you use referees that will easily be located. Of course, proof of resisdence is very important so also your spouse income. Normally, after your interview, they will invite your spouse to show these docs (accomodation, bank account or work contract, etc) before a decision is taken for your case. Interview questions centres mainly on finding out if you have basic german knowledge and informatin about your spouse. Its important that you remember how u and when you met him, etc. On the other hand, they may ask you for the docs and the interviews ends like that. Good luck and also surf the internet for other people experiences
