Nonsense!

Rivers is a Christian state.

The Punch should show us when and where they rose in condemnation of the Muslim states that were declaring their states as Islamic states during OBJ's regime.

We suffered riots in the North. I lost a family member in Kano. The young man was hacked to death in the bathroom, before his dad could rush down.

We lost properties in Kaduna State. If not because Christians rose up in Kaduna State and continue to rise, Kaduna too, would have become a Shari'a state.

This article just got me very angry.

If u want to practice sharia practice it all in, reject all VAT's from alcohol or anything related to it.

Its only in northern states that Christian girls will be forced to wear hijab, but in the south its a matter of choice, if Rivers state decides to walk the talk by being really a Christian state by now the Fg would declare a state of emergency in the state, cause nobody in the entire state would wear a hijab.

I came across where the OP said that state religion is forbidden according to 1999 constitution. but I wonder why the Sokoto, Zamfara and other North Western States are exempted from the Constitution through their sharia practice and prohibition of Christianity in their state.
