Thank you chief for the selfless supports here and there - you king!

Please, I want to ask which route is best to relocate to New Zealand and get a job there?

Permanent residency?

Visitor VISA?

Students VISA?

And can I really do it by myself without agent?

Thank you much.

No u don’t need any international DL...... u can drive with d Naija DL for one year..... and it will also save u from going through ‘learners license’ stage when converting it to NZ DL.

Hello house,

I'm happy to inform you all that I've arrived safely in Auckland, New Zealand.

In testament to the following information from "davodyguy"; I've met with Femi whom I call "Chief Femi" and have confirmed that He's such a wonderful fellow with a good heart. He sacrifices his time to attend to people. I pray for more blessings and open doors upon his life.
Thanks to you all.

davodyguy:

I guess congratulations are in order.

I wish you all the best.

Contact Femi when you get to New Zealand. I know there can be stupid people on Social media who should be avoided, yet there are some others that are good people.

I met Femi here and we eventually connected in New Zealand. I can tell you, he's a nice guy.

He actually picked us up in Auckland and took us to places where we shopped in his car at his own cost.

I recommend him as a true friend and brother.

Are you going to Auckland or another city?

Congratulations bro.
Nairaland is a faceless forum, with too many silly people. But we still have extremely good people here as well.

Enjoy your stay.

I miss Auckland, unfortunately this December vacation is in Europe. We're doing Istanbul, Paris and Amsterdam.

Hope to convince my wife to do that long trip to AU or NZL pretty soon

Hello house,
Please I have a pressing situation that I need help with.

Please bear with me as this is quite lengthy

I got a PhD admission in New Zealand beginning of this year, but I was not able to secure the scholarship. And I could not afford their tuition and living expenses on my small salary. I applied for another scholarship which I was told might not be available till next year

Also at the same time, I got an admission in South Africa which I can afford as the school will pay the tuition and but you will have to take care of the living expenses yourself.

Therefore, in a bit to progress and not waste more time at home as I had already spent two years working on this, I decided to go to South Africa to start my PhD. I got a 3 years visa for my studies and September I decided to leave. When i arrived, my supervisor advised me to wait till next year to register officially as the year is almost over. But I can continue my research unofficially. I agreed.

Early this month, I received a letter that my scholarship has been granted for my studies in New Zealand to start immediately. Which is great news.

My question is, will the 3 years study visa in my passport for south africa affect my chances of getting a study visa for New Zealand? I havent been officially registered as a student here so will they have reservations about the S.A study visa?

Ps. The scholarship is not from New Zealand.

Femi and others can advise, but pick NZ over any other country

since you haven’t register officially as a student in SA, I don’t think that should be an issue.... but if u have concerns, u can explain and be upfront in your cover letter.

If they accept scanned copy, then send it to the school directly or whoever had sent u that email. But if not, you will have to courier it to the mailing address.

They don't accept scanned documents

How much can I mail the school from Nigeria?

Well, I thought of getting somebody I can send the scanned copy to who can print it, certify and submit to the school (university of Auckland )

No justice of Peace in NZ will certify a scanned copy without sighting the the original... go and certify with a notary public lawyer in Nigeria and ask the school for their mailing address if u don’t have it yet.... use fedex, DHL or registered post with Nipost.

It's not right for me to be superstitious, but you know as a Christian, we do pray that on the day of our joy, may death not visit us.

Two weeks a go, I saw 'RIP' on a friend's status and I asked what happened.

She said on a Friday, the guy was promoted, the next day (Saturday two weeks a go) he left Lagos to Ibadan to share the news with his parents, same day in died along Lagos Ibadan Express Way. That accident made the headlines two weeks a go.

What can you say to that?

Strange things happen, may God continue to protect us and may we not die before the appointed time and our destinies shall not be cut short in Jesus name

Oh definitely I get that, you know.... even though we try so hard not to believe in those things due to civilisation and religion, but the reality is that they are very real. And there are still people who dwell in the evil.

If given the offer, what should i do not to be denied a visa? will i need a sponsor's bank statement? Or what documents should i use to apply for Visa so as not to be denied a visa. I'm afraid of the financial part. Pls is there any body presently in Auckland? Can i have your E-mail?
