Omoluabi is respected because Omoluabi supports truth, equity and fairness not illegality. We know those who support criminality and tribe in all matters and we can all see the ridicule they have brought to their tribe. Nobody takes them seriously anymore, nobody supports their cause! read the full indictment. it is clear to anybody he is guilty

Long and short:

he bought planes from legitimate companies

then he proceeded to set up 2 shell US companies company A and company B

he then went to CBN and claimed he wants to buy planes that he already owns ....(fraud 1) from company A (which he owns). he then inflated the price of the planes in the invoice from company A to Airpeace in order to get more forex at official rate from CBN (fraud 2). In order to open a LC, he needs a valuation company to say the value of the planes are indeed the inflated figure, that is where company B comes in (which he owns) so Company B writes a inflated valuation report that indeed the planes are worth the inflated amount (fraud 3).

Ordinarily this is Nigerian fraud against CBN...his intent was round tripping. But by getting a US bank to issue a LC based on fake documents, he has commited a fraud in the US because the Us bank has made payment on credit (pending payment by the Nigerian bank) based on fraudulent documentation. The fraudulent documentation being the fact that he was claiming to buy a plane Airpeace already owned and inflated at valuation Obtaining credit by fraud in the US is a serious crime.

A criminal will always think and act like one even when trying to run a legitimate business.
