It's PPR guys....

Semi Long post alert.

*MY PPR STORY*

*Decision to travel* : Hubby always had the dream and I bought it after we got married. Finally decided to begin the EE journey officially in January 2019.

IELTS (1st and Only Attempt): February 19, 2019.
Got 9,8.5,8,7 in R,L,S,W.
I practised with the BC test taker materials for reading, ieltsbuddy for listening. I didn't practice speaking and writing but the grace of God saw me through.
Hubby's IELTS: Band 6

ECA: ICES for hubby and me.
ICES miraculously evaluated my UNIPORT degree even after they had written me to say they won't.

*EE profile created* : 18th June
(CRS - 467)
I have an MSc, less than 30 years and married with more than 3 years work experience.

*Timeline*
*ITA* : 26th June
*AOR* : 10, July, 2019
*Biometrics/Medicals passed* : 2, Aug,2019
*ADR* : Aug, 2nd. I was asked to rescan my international passport. I later realised that the one I uploaded initially had some parts cut off (you can't be too careful with your application)
*1st Ghost update* : 3rd August: ADR changed to- we are reviewing the additional documents you submitted.
*Silence* ....
*2nd Ghost update* : 3rd Dec, 2019 - nothing changed
*3rd Ghost update* : 4th Dec, 2019 - ADR changed to NA
*PPR* :
*Travel history* : PA-None. Spouse visited Ghana twice.
VO: Ottawa

*Documents Uploaded*
Education: ielts results, university degree certificates, ECA reports.

Marriage: Marriage certificates (church and court).

Proof of name change: newspaper advert, court affidavit.

Employment: reference letters in IRCC format, 6 months bank statements for two of my employments, and pay slips for one employment that I was paid in cash.

*POF* : 6 months treasury bill. Hubby transferred the money to my account and I bought the TB.
So, I uploaded my TB certificate, hubby's account statement showing the transfer only, reference letters from the three banks I bank with and LOE.

Note: Let a second eye go through your application before you submit.
You can't be too careful.

My application journey was powdered by grace, I literally saw the help of God at every stage.

If God has said it, it will surely come to pass. It can only be delayed for a while.
I pray that everyone believing God in this journey receives His favour in Jesus Name.

It's done in Canada after you pay the respective exam fees post ECA completion

You can also give PEBC evaluating exam in UK .

Congrats Enonymous!

Please would you know if there's a group for November/December AOR? I'd like to be in such a group as waiting on my own with no support group can be extremely frustrating.

If there isn't, I propose we form one for people who are interested.

Cheers

Interview Proper

Dear E,

YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA(S) APPEARS READY TO BE ISSUED.

PPR - Nov 28th.

No one was going to be left behind. Our good did not kill us at last!
I am grateful to Canada for finding us worthy despite all the complications.

I am extremey grateful to my wife for all the support. It was tough for her, especially with the pregnancy, and having to cope with traveling to Accra with an infant. I knew she could do it because she’s a super woman. I intend to buy her a Tesla in canada, but she’ll rather put the money in Educational Trust Fund. I marry beta wife from self contain to Canada. I am happy to be sharing this moment with her.

I’m giving out a special shoutout to Opeyemi from the AVO group. I wont say much about her because words can’t express how much I appreciate her support. She was with me all the way from the first day I joined the AVO group. The minute I ran into the MTN office for wifi coverage, all her messages just poured in. I’m not sure why she has human flesh, she should be an angel. She’s the reason I decided to document my experience. It would be wrong to not let people know about such person.

I also want to appreciate the sticker king of April/May 2019 AOR group . You wont believe a guy I have never met sent me financial support for the accra trip. He has been asking for my address so he can load me up with Musibau bags. How can somebody be concerned about me like this

Hello Everyone.
Please I have a question, can anyone explain what "two or more certificates, diplomas or degree" means, I have an NCE Certificate from FCET Akoka which is a 3 years program and also a B.Tech from FUTMinna, can I select this option?

I await your kind revert.

God bless you guys.

Regards.

B.tech is only a degree. Why do you think it should be evaluated as two?

if the NCE was not a prerequisite for the B.tech, then you can. But what did your evaluation report say?

Hello everyone, thanks to everyone who has been helpful one way or the other with infos...I have few ques and i will be glad if y'all can help me with answers...I worked as a supervisor at a warehouse at Ladipo for 5yrs bf i left for my MBA 2yrs ago which i finished this yr Aug so here are the questions:
1...What would be my NOC as my duties involved making sure our goods(tyres) from Germany got to our warehouse at Ladipo from tincan and i supervise the sales of those goods and also when we hv orders frm our notable retailers i made sure our drivers deliver the goods to them and also supervise the clerk/secretary work to make sure the receipt issued are correct and free of error...IMO im thinking of selecting NOC 1215 which is a supervisor manager please help out if im right and if not kindly suggest a suitable NOC for my duties mentioned earlier
2...I used the CRS tool to calculate my eligibility and with assumed IELTS score of LSWR 8/7/7/7 i ended up with smthing ard 461 so i wld like to knw the docs that may be required if im using a marital status of 'common-law partner' as there is no marriage cert cuz we r nah married yet so how do we prove we are common-partners??
Thank y'all and may it be easy for us all

Same here. And to think some of them posted an impressive IELTS score. Imagine someone with 9988 saying "I gave ...". You are immediately tempted to add that to your vocab. May God help us.

They were marked by like minds. What do you expect? If them dey send our result go Yankee e go differ.

The rationale is that its usage is correct in certain instances. For example, it's correct to "give biometrics" and IRCC agrees. See here.

Please somebody should reply me now.

I am about to pay for my evaluation. Is there a thread of lawyers who have ECA not from IQAS. I have searched the thread from part 1-9 and all I can see is lawyers use IQAS.

Thank you

Please house am about to start my journey...my exam is on 8th feb..I was adviced to send my document to Wes for evaluation....would it be a wise thing to do how or after my exam....thanks

Good morning All,

I need clarifications please.

I am about to start my ECA and with the hold by IQAS, it seems WES is my only option. I have a LLB degree and with the WES tool, my degree was evaluated as a 4yrs bachelors degree. Do I need to evaluate my Law School result as well for me to be able to qualify for 2 or more degrees ?

If yes, how do I go about law school transcript? Would I need to send that to WES as well? Or should I just send only copies of law school certificate without transcript?

Aside WES which other evaluating body is recommended for lawyers? IQAS would have been perfect but they are on hold.

Thank you
