Why am I not excited with this Dessers news?. I pity the guy sha. He is a very good striker, but then OSIMHEN......

What happens when Osimhen is off form, injured or suspended? Competition is good for a team, you can not have too many good players.

You dont have to school me on Ndidi, I know his status and statistics. My point is that Zuby has been very unfortunate with securing a decent clubside and this is a common place with a lot of players who ply their trade in the deplorable Nigerian league.

c'mon the guy is just under 23...
he is not even up to 22...he has been 18 for about 3 years now...hopefully before he clock 23....he turns to a beast none of the teams in the top 5 league can afford...

real Madrid and man city will have to contribute money to buy him...with each club having the right to play 19 match each for both clubs...in a season.

dude is a beast about to be unleashed...

furthermore, Ighalo came to the team, when he was 26 and with his short time, even with competition like a younger, inform Iheanacho, he still hit double digit figures in goals.

Osimhen will not always be firing on all cylinders, and Rohr may even choose to play two strikers up top in a 3-5-2 formation, so Dessers will not be particularly disadvantaged

A professional coach in Amuneke is telling you being an assistant is too big for him. Who are we to say otherwise? Let us be honest telling Amuneke to come and assist Rohr is an insult to Amuneke and so is suggesting him for our age group teams
If he's saying it, then cool. However, there is no big insult in assisting Rohr. What has Amuneke achieved in the game to think assisting Rohr is an insult?? Are you serious?
I said be assistant coach which is also head coach of team b and U23 job...not be U23 coach.

Balderdash, Cyril Dessers is the highest performing 'Belgian' striker at the moment

He would walk into the team on merit but he rejected it for where his heart was

Or are you saying the Dutch league is not rated?

By what unit of measurement.

The Eredivisie is considerably lower than La Liga, EPL and Bundesliga.

You cannot equate perfomances in the Eredivisie with the top leagues in Europe.

Finally, look at the Belguim national team the vast majority of thier players do not play in Belgium.

He is not on the same level of Origi or Batshuayi to name just a few.

Komekn has dropped his 'Lion in lower league' theory, he's now using 'League matters' theory

No I have not.

The issue is comparison.

Look at the forward players that Belguim have established and proven at the highest level.

Lukaku arguably one of the best strikers in the world and very consistent.

So in comparison to De Brunya, Hazard, Origi, Batshuayi he is simply not in the reckoning.

How many games did he play for Belguim youth at U17, U21, etc ❓ That tells you something too.

So much for all the fit bod and tight abs pictures Arsenal fans on Twitter were sharing, it just goes to show, coaching goes beyond snapping hot pictures with fine pata grin

how many games did Nzonzi play for France's age grade teams? How many games did Mbappe play for the French age grade teams?

This point is moot. What is Batshauyi doing that makes him better than Dessers on current form?

What a joke,

Bastuayi has 1 league goal this season, Origi has three, so much for established players
