The better fighter won.

Ruiz is a great fighter, no doubt, but he doesn't have what it takes to win.

Let me remind you, this is a rematch. AJ underestimated Ruiz and was careless not knowing that fat Ruiz had great muscles to deliver very fast and heavy punches. AJ went too close and got KO.

AJ now knows the strengths and weaknesses of Ruiz, you don't expect AJ to make obvious mistakes by playing a game his opponent was physically better at.

AJ played a game he was physically and tactically better at. He has better reach and being taller, Ruiz can only defend while AJ avoids the heavy body punches.

You can't say Ruiz is a better fighter, if he was, he would have won. If Ruiz was better, he would have used another strategy to match the new AJ strategy, but Ruiz has no other strategy than the one he has. With AJ knowing the right strategy, Ruiz will never defeat AJ.

keep quiet, what AJ did was a smart tactic, kept his distance and jab Andy Ruiz head off. He will be stupid not to use his height and long hand advantage because Andy is very good fight on the inside ie at close range because he is not too tall. In fact AJ earned greater respect for beautiful tactics displaced

He was not there to impress you .. I felt the fight was boring.. But he had to use technical skill to win the fight.. He had to becareful and he won clearly with an unanimous decision.. This was a fight he had to apply skills to . Keep in mind this is the same guy that knocked him out 6 months ago... that fear is still there in the corner of his mind... I do expect an aggressive and knock out fight from now on... he has built his confidence and got his mojo back on...

That fight is everything short of a heavyweight division fight. . From the beginning to the end he was looking scared... The AJ that fought last night was everything short of the one I knew.. Scared and cautious are two different things... he was cautious.. He is facing a guy that knocked or better yet punch him in the head six months ago.. He was seeing stars and didnt know where he was at.. That punch to the back of the head could have render him useless for the rest of his life... HE WAS BEING CAUTIOUS
