2 doors that's 206 cc I guess, the conversion is no problem if done by a proven expert but my problem is the price, look too good to be true.
Investigate how genuine the car is first then we take it from it, check if the custom papers are genuine.

Yes, the price looks too good. I discovered the owner is in the military so he may have had some cutting corners to clear it. I asked about the papers and was told everything is intact (although I did not see them myself).

Again, if the owner got the car into the country without proper custom clearance, will I encounter problems during registration if I buy?

Since you know the owner go ahead and pay for the car and make sure you get the right set of docs, you won't encounter any problem to register it.

Also, I understand you personally have your reservations when it comes to peageot cars. Can you share one or two pros and cons of this particular cc.

I got this option of a tokumbo peageot 206 with full features: Ac, airbag, super-clean, custom-cleared.
After much bargain, we settled for N280k which i considered a very fair deal.

Now here's the catch:

1. Right hand drive: Spoke to a mechanic and he gave the cost of converting to left hand at N120k so I'll be spending a total of N400k for purchase and conversion.
2. One-door (driver and passenger alone)

I want to seek your sincere advice on this deal. I dont know much about cars so wouldn't know the challenges of a converted peageot.

Well for the price (400k) at the rate at which the dollar is soaring I think you should get it. But ensure it is done properly. I called a part dealer about your conversion and its roughly 120k.

Hey incase you are wondering, this is almost 5yrs down the line and I am still driving the converted Peugeot 206.

The conversion was done, not by a pro but it has been serving me. No issues that could be traced directly to the conversion. Car has really, really served me. Got it when mileage was around 80,000 miles; I have done 119,000 with it already, still counting.
