Don't worry Sir Good Joe... You guys still have a buy back Clause remember? grin

37.5 million pounds if Leicester doesn't make the UCL but 50million pounds if Leicester makes the UCL all within the first four years of Nacho's Leicester's career. This is Nacho's third season with Leicester and he is having quite a stormer so far... Perhaps, you and your cityzen army will activate that clause if Nacho keeps tearing up the league. So just keep some spare 50million somewhere just in case... grin Hahahahaha. But before that, I hope Nacho stings you guys hard in that much awaited fixture on the 21st. wink

Nacho fired on all cylinders for Man City. I felt sad when he left because I thought he was the one to take over from Aguero.

Seriously!! I don't even see where the hype is coming from. Sentiments aside our team has better prospect than the Senegalese.

First hand information from one of Leicester's core fans say the head groundsman at Leicester's training ground affirms to the "extra work" Rodgers and his crew keep putting into Nacho especially. He looks fitter, slimmer and faster and it is said to be due to the special training regimen he is on at Leicester under Rodgers' direct supervision. Dieting, constant hardwork at training are chief among these.

The news out of Leicester's training grounds align pretty much with what Rodgers have said and I believe Nacho will keep at this for a long time indeed. He has seen it is paying off again and I believe that is more than enough motivation to not stop or rest on this.

TheGoodJoe:

It is nice to hear Nacho is First Class in training but this is the easy part. He has learnt a lot and I was impressed when Rodgers was giving some advice to a player, before Nacho was substituted, how Nacho ran to listen to what Rodgers was saying. Shows Nacho is hungry to learn.

Now comes the hard part. To keep learning and being first class in training for the coming years of his career. That is how he gets to become a World Class player.

He needs to maintain his diet and fitness. Instead of adding, he needs to keep shedding pounds to move faster and stay sharper.

Praying for the best for the young man.

Or he might turn Eze Off from wanting to play for us, hence he is not wanted due to a better choice.

So u are saying he might decide to settle for England? grin

That is okay but Rohr should be aware of players feelings. Eze might feel not liked by Rohr with such statements. Rohr should always emphasise on tactical needs of the team than saying a player is better than the other.
Exactly. I don't know why he'd say that... What changed from the meet-up where he rated Eze??

KC is improving and the more he plays the more he will improve.

However, playing the adventurous system Leicester did against Villa is tactical by the Manager. And a reflection of how they see Villa.

I doubt if they would play that same system against a stronger EPL team.

You've definitely not been watching Leicester at all this season.

They play their Normal game irrespective of how big the opponent involved. They gave Liverpool a run for their money and lost to an Injury time VAR awarded penalty and almost beat Chelsea, while playing adventurous in both games.

More like, "Drills" is everything grin

And believe me, TheGoodJoe has always been right about that, reason why I always stood with him and you too and several tagged us alongside a few others who believed in Nacho as Deluded heavily biased Nacho fanboys.

Even in school, in Medicine, or in business, hours upon hours, days upon days and weeks upon weeks of preparation, hardwork and fine-tuning is needed to deliver massive success in just probably 3 hours of a paper, a surgery or even a major business contract presentation.

If it requires many hours and weeks of practice for a Choir to prepare for a rendition of just 10mins, then a footballer surely needs more time on the "Drills field" to ensure he is in top shape for the next 90mins of football action.

Preparation and training must always be far greater and far more time-invested than the time for the actual action.

True and Leicester won't wanna be on the wrong end of business. They won't wanna lose Nacho. Loolll... Anyway, the business side of things is not exactly my priority jare... My own is Nacho's comeback stays permanent and come add that extra fire to this new young and fast-rising Nigerian golden generation. grin I have always said that Nacho is one player that I believe has a special place in this young Nigerian side's evolution. He is one of several key pieces alongside Osimhen, Chukwueze, Iwobi, Ndidi, Aina, Aribo, Uzoho, Awaziem, Kalu, and the rest of them, capped and uncapped.

His resurgence is indeed one of the best news for Nigerian football as we end 2019.

Hey, TheGoodJoe, you still recall the Nigerian Super Eagles' Special League of extraordinary Hitmen we envisioned and analysed back then right? wink It seems like we were discussing something a little far ahead of time but we are beginning to see some of it come true. For one, our prediction on Osimhen rising into that top 9 position is spot on so far.

And with Nacho's new rebirth, I believe we can say that league is taking very fine shape indeed...

Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Kelechi Iheanacho are the leading badass assasins in this league based on pure hitmen talents and high yield quality alone.

Samuel Kalu is another member of this league but he isn't as lethal the above mentioned three. But his interplays with Chuks and Osimhen is near world class if not already world class in a pure attacking sense.
Moses Simon is another and although has decent Ligue 1 stats, he remains more defensively astute and just effective enough in the final third.

This league can still see the likes of Josh Maja, Cyriel Dessers, Chidera Ejuke, and a few others expand it further.

This league is looking good Sir Goodjoe... And I think we are about to see a bigger explosion in the abundance of quality. wink

The League of Extraordinary Hitmen is taking shape while we wait for the rising of Onyekuru and Isaac Success in a short time. I have not given up faith in these two also. Awoniyi might still make it.

We will soon have to shift our formation to an out and out attack system.

the future of the super eagles is freaking bright. i foresee this team winning the next afcon or atleast finishing 2nd.

the Algerian and Senegalese teams rated as the best in africa are aging and won't be on the same gear and pace in 2 years time. the advantage the super eagles have is that 70% of the team is below the age of 27 with abundant uncapped talents waiting on the corner for a chance. the teams i think will pose a threat to the team's ambition in 2021 afcon is the Morocco and Mali team which also are blessed with talented young players

Brendan Rodgers On Kelechi Iheanacho's Rebirth

Culled from the Leicester Mercury:

“I thought he was great. He played the role how we wanted him to play. He creates Jamie’s first goal, gets the second one with a good finish,

"I just think with Kels now that he’s settling in to being a Leicester City player. He’s come in and he was playing second fiddle to Jamie without many appearances.

“Probably before when he’s come into games... When you’re not playing so much, sometimes can you force it. You come and try to force the performance.

"All I said to him was just work hard in training, that’s all you can do. Don’t worry about being picked or not, that’s the manager’s choice.

“But as long as you’re working hard and giving me something to think about, then that’s all you can do. He’s been first class in his training.

"You saw him in the cup games, he comes in and he scores. He did it at Everton, came on and made a great impact. It’s just a case of him coming in with confidence. I thought he was very good [against Aston Villa], his hold-up play, his link-up with the midfield. He was excellent.

When asked if Nacho is a "confidence" player:

“With any player, if their confidence is low, they don’t play so well. Every single player has confidence. For him, you can see his level is at a nice high level. He just needs to keep working, that’s the key to it.”

Anything you read from Leicester Mercury is 100 percent

He's not going to be first choice at those clubs and he may end up being a bench warmer.

Leicester have upped thier game with the arrival of Brendan.

He will be a bench warmer for Leicester or man united

But I still want a smaller Epl team where he can get game time

Not that Jesus was even an 100 million player to send nacho out

Jesus cost 27 million and nacho cost 25 million

If nacho has been playing at city with the type of game time Jesus is having despite being an understudy to aguero nacho would have gotten more better stats than Jesus

It is preference and I think Pep was still learning the league at the time he dropped Nacho for Gabriel Jesus. Remember, he also dropped Aguero.

I think if we were to rewind time, Guardiola will choose to keep Nacho.

Some players are 'confidence' players. When confidence is high, they are unstoppable. When confidence is low, they are terrible.

Confidence plays a role for every player but it affect some more than others.

Maybe Kelechi needs confidence to operate well, he looks like a better version of the under 17 boy. We have seen him play like this before but all of a sudden, it looked like he could not play ball again.

The arrival of Pep in city seemed to dampen his confidence and he never regained it till now.

If nacho will play next game it will be his 100th Epl appearance with just 19 goals

You won’t blame him because of the limited game time ,yes nacho has struggled but he should have nothing less than 50 Epl goals if we are to go by his mancity goal ratio

Isn’t t weird that Ndidi of yesterday got Epl 100 appearance before nacho

Such is life sha
