Ismaily Sarr has one goal this season

I guess he's struggling in Watford and in the EPL.

Not good enough because it seems hwes playing more like a striker now. But don't forget he's a winger primarily and was quite impressive on the wings in French league last season.

However, he has still been very influential for the Senegalese team.

Good thing he has clarified and distanced himself from it. In the end, Eze and Ejaria are GWG prospects so obviously Rohr gotta tread carefully. He did criticize Iheanacho openly though at one time and labelled him unprofessional and a joker. He was also quoted saying Osimhen needs to bulk up bla bla bla... that he falls all over the place in training (before his sudden rise to the top 9 role of the team).

So perhaps that was these journalists' way in to try cook up something tagged to Rohr as he has made a few really "sensitive/touchy" comments in the past about his players.

edi287:
Well Rohr has denied it... Don't know why I'm surprised.

if you are to pick between Eze and ovie right now who will you pick for Super Eagles?

It's difficult if you want offensive play and a playmaker. Eze is your man.

However, if you want a complete midfielder with a huge work rate, prepared to defend and at the same time attack then Ovie.

Finally, it's still difficult because Reading is struggling and not as attack minded as QPR. What l am saying it's not so simplistic.

I would rather have the two of them in SE we need strength in depth.

I am sure, he told Osimhen personally what he needed to do to improve. Same goes with Kelechi.

He has never compared one player to another though

Erling Braut Haaland is good but not better than Osimhen. The reason for his goal haul is simply bkus he plays for a better team, he would struggle to get as many goals playing alongside Ikone, Bamba and co. No young striker posseses Osimhen's innate ruggedity. Haaland doesn't have Osimhen's workrate, off the ball.

BTW, Mwepu is great baller

We have seen players hyped but it becomes easier when they perform.

The thing that really helps in your rating if you are not in a top club. Is if you can score goals in the Champions league.

In this regard Victor fails because he has scored once in th Champions league. Please remind me how many Haaland has scored.

Nonetheless, l think Victor is much faster and with hungry determined aggressive streak.

U think it easy to score in the champions league when your team mates don't know how to create chances?
Put Osimhen in that Salzburg team and he will score..they are very creative and play fast counter attacking football...

Yes. I don't doubt he spoke with those players personally despite his public criticisms of both. And yep... I have never seen him compare two players to the extent of downgrading another. Not Rohr's style. It is just Journalists trying to have Christmas early.

Thank you for seeing his hypocritical maneuver. I recall Nacho was also influential for Nigeria for a good period even when he struggled for the most part at Leicester. Komekn no pity am then. Abeg... We just choose to ignore that man's many hypocritical tactics here. But shaa... Without Komekn, this place won't be that much fun, savvy? grin

Sometimes there are some argument that expose people complete lack of knowledge.

Koulibaly is on the way to becoming the most expensive defender in football history currently. He is arguably the best CB in the world.

And someone is saying l dont know anything about African football.

Essentially Senegal have far more players playing in the top 5 leagues of Europe than we do. They also have a never ending conveyor belt of talent from the French league one.

Our only striker making waves is Victor Osimhen in the top leagues.

Habib Diallo has scored same number of goals as Victor Osimhen. Somehow the person who is saying l dont know anything about African didn't even know his name.

We could talk about Mbiaye Diana or Ismaila Sarr.

Instead we are getting orgasmic and euphoric about our striker who has scored two goals KC this season, is it good enough probably yes because we lack quality strikers. But then again we simply don't have many if any quality striker apart from Victor.

The reality Anybody with KC stats will not even smell the Senegalese team.

They simply have far more options and strengthen in depth.

Consider Moussa Wagué has not played enough games but wait for it he plays for Barcelona.

Finally, an indictment on this divisory attitude of calling players FB and implied they are less Nigerian or loyal to the SE cause.

Look at how many of the Senegalese team were born in France and not you but many lacking knowledge will be suprised.

Lies as usual
Ismailla Sarr has one goal this season and Kelechi has two. So Kelechi as been better this season. Also Okereke has more goals than Mbaye Diagne who doesn't start for Club Brugge most of the time. Just stick to the Jam Body football you claim to know about

So you leaped before you looked, you then denigrated my comments that l have limited knowledge that's derisory.

How then do you from a position of zero knowledge then dismiss my comments.

Can l conclude that of its not objective it's emotive and negative sentiment.

You can educate yourself with my comments to Andrewbaba44.

That's why l concluded you must miss me so much you just couldn't resist the temptation to comment. Even if it doesn't make sense.

Nonetheless, it's all comedy to me. LOL
f it was all comedy to you, you would not be writing long epistles and essays about anything

I wanted to give you a lengthy reply, but I see there is no need to, as others who are more knowledgeable than you, have put you in your place as usual. So many fancy words, only to end up with your foot in your mouth once again.

Even the EPL you claim to know, you don't even know who is doing well there.

Yup. And seeing Araujo and Tiago Maia in the starting XI just concludes that Galtier is resting players.

No Renato Sanches, No Ikone, No Bamba, No Osimhen. Galtier is giving his bench warmers a run.

What are the LIES

I mentioned several players not just Ismaila to see how balanced some of you would be. But my expectations were too high it seems.

So why don't you talk about.

Mane, Koulibaly, Gueye, Habib, Kouyate and so many others.

Or the Everton players Niasse 30 games and 8 goals in the EPL. But who is far from first choice in the Senegalese team.

Picking out individual players who you consider weak. Ismaila Sarr is a winger that scored 8 goals in the French league last season. He has played on the wing for Watford and Striker in a 4-4-2.

But his main position is the wing.

You just want to argue for no reason beyond argument sake.

The core issue is very simple, " Senegal has far more quality players on paper than we do, very simple.

That doesn't mean we can not beat them just that it is unlikely.
