Who can remember how Egypt equalized against Nigeria at the 2017 AFCON qualifiers played in Kaduna. One of our defenders got injured and Ikeme threw the ball to throwing and the Egyptians took advantage of that throw and scored.

So yes that was unprofessional from Iheanacho but there is no standing rule concerning that.

the truth is, when your team is down by a goal, the natural thing is to want to level scores by any means necessary. That is what a natural forward would do instinctively.

If CR7's team was down by a goal and half the opposition team's players were on the field, you think he would stop play if he was right on his way to goal, irrespective of professionalism? Or if it was Ramos, would he stop the game?

In football, greatness is not always earned by following ethics. Each player has the right to determine the kind of player they want to be, and not everyone wants to be Messi or Lewandoski. Some players are more like CR7, Ramos, Costa, Suarez, Ibrahimovic. They are willing to be the villains, as long as they get that win.

Let me also add.... Nacho was under no obligation to return that ball. Oh yes! The ball was kicked out by the opposing team and not the referee. The referee didn't stop play and Leicester as a team didn't even want to kick the ball out.


Norwich stopped play by themselves just because they are a goal up... Trying to manipulate things by claiming fairplay. What rubbish! Would they bother kicking out the ball with their man down if they were a goal down? I don't think so.

In Nacho's mind, He got a throw pass from Ricardo and thus turned immediately on the Opposite who already had men back to defend against his incursions. He had every right to go in search of an equaliser because it is legal and not against the rules. This fair play noise is all bollocks because teams that won't to play dirty wasting time tactics will do it under the spirit of fairplay and that is what Norwich were up to yesterday.

Besides, I was going through some of the Leicester's fans discussions on this on their forum and I picked out a few that drove my points further home. You will find them below this post.

Norwich players are just bunch of pussies who were looking to kill the clock with fairplay nonsense. Like they would have stopped play deliberately after Leicester as team refused to kick the ball out if they were the ones 1-0 down. Rubbish and Rubbishes.

One judge had Covington win 4 rounds.

Had Usman not knocked him out, it could’ve been a draw or Usman could’ve been ripped off.

Regardless, fair game to Covington. Usman’s face took a lot of haymakers.

Usman would have won. The scores were 3:1 Usman, 3:1 Colby, and 2:2

Anyway, you just gotta know that Luke Ayodele Amos was born in Hertfordshire, England and has turned out for the England U-18s as far back as in 2015. Those games were friendlies so he won't need any nationality switch if we were to fo for him right now.

His best position is DM although he has been deployed as a left back too. He can also play CM. Yes, you guessed it... He is a left footed player standing at a decent height of 1.79m (5 ft 10.5 inches or so).

I think Rodgers rushed that decision. I also understand Gray was being prepped to come in at a later time to alter the formation a bit but doing it immediately after that incident was the stinker for me. Rodgers should have handled it better. He gave out the wrong impression by taking Iheanacho out almost immediately after the lad was "lynched" by the Norwich players.

Personally, I think pulling him off before half-time is quite harsh. It's not like there are not other examples of behaviors that are not sportsmanlike we see often in football and the EPL.

I think Ndidi is too intelligent to have made such a big gaff. So l don't think the possibility exists that Ndidi would be substituted.

But if Ndidi had done that I could easily imagine Rogers substituting him.

Anybody who does that puts the Manager in a very compromising position. And gives him no other option but to take the player off.
