Give us your figures for us to compare.
There are no figures because the instrumentality of government is shaped against any figures. Census has been rigged since 1963. Your voters register tells you that no state with all the riggings ever get 25% of the registered voters vote in an election. Nigeria is the only nation, even as northern Africans flock down here, has the deserted north as the overpopulated area. What else do you want to know.

No light for your people and you sell it out

Country with big issue
Because you cannot pay for it. Cost of generating one unit of electricity is same for an industrial customer and a residential customer but the tariffs are different. It is easier to collect payment from an industrial customer than a residential one. Makes more business sense that residential customers are lowest in the pecking order.

Nigerias problem with power isnt lack of it, but distribution and transmission.. most discos delibrately shed power because they know 60% of energy gets stolen or lost

with 3,664 MW egypt a top african economy has enough power which is well distributed, rwanda haw 500mw and they are fine, Nigeria has 7000MW installed capacity but gencos would rather sell to smaller african countries than Nigerians
how can you type this rubbish confidently? Egypt generate far more than 3,644MW.

Lol good one from the FG. Niger and Benin should wise up and stop being so dependent. Niger Republic can use hydro, or nuclear or fossil fuel. Both countries could build dams generating the power themselves cutting out Nigerian middleman.
we supply them to prevent them from putting up their own dams as that will affect our water level for stable generation of electricity.

If you check your map very well you would see that river niger flows into nigeria through this countries, and before building kanji and other hydropower dams Nigerian government reached an agreement with neighboring countries for them not to dam or cut river niger water supply and we shall provide part of their electricity needs, so should we be stupid enough to cut their powers, then they cut us from the source of water flow
tell them.

Darkness is looming for these ungrateful neighbors. After throwing them into hunger and starvation by closing the borders, Buhari is about to throw them into darkness for owing electricity bills. You cannot be enjoying our electricity without paying. Even we the owners are paying. Pay up your debts now or get into long months or Years of darkness.

This is the soldier I voted for Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
So you're part of those that voted this failure. I hope you're enjoying the suffering. We could've all rallied together and voted Sowore or some other new politician, but we chose to vote someone with a proven record of ineptitude

And who is surfering it? it's we the poor masses. I went to start a business the first thing I did was to buy generator to power my tools.

I doubt if the 3 countries combined have the population of some states in Nigeria. I believe population and landmass is part of our problems. To be honest Democracy will hardly work in this country with our differences.

For those quoting me. I mentioned differences and you continue to compare Nigeria with China, US and the likes. SMH.
Nigeria is indeed big and we have too many tribes and ethnic groups.
Benin 11.4millions people
Niger 22.4
Togo 7.9

You can goggle that information. I think you should mellow down on this GDP this GDP that, and focus on the overall well-being and standard of living of Nigerians. Nigeria’s greatest assets are its people, not oil and gas, or anything.

You are quoting GDP. What I want to hear from you is how are nigerians doing, in terms of life expectancy, access to jobs, poverty levels, electricity, water, quality education, personal security, food etc. These are considered necessities of life. So what is the point of a big GDP when the people are suffering, in all ramifications?

Just like some Ghanaians are suffering as well, your companies are suffering, your government is suffering and you suffering too.

The report alleging that Ghana was owing Nigeria for gas purchases was published more than one and half years ago. Nobody had a good sense to find out if the debt had been cleared or not? And they are still recycling old, stale news. How about an attempts to dig up more current news in Ghana’s so-called indebtedness to Nigeria gas? Or you call NNPC to ask, can’t you?

In any case, if Ghana is owing Nigeria till now, will nigeria continue to supply gas to Ghana? But never mind, just google and find out if indeed Ghana is still owing Nigeria for gas sold in the past. I know what the latest story is, but I want you to look for the latest info on this issue yourself.

I am also delighted to inform you that Ghana’s dependence on gas imports from Nigeria is shrinking. Currently Ghana produces more than 400 million scf per day from its own OCTP, Jubile and TEN fields. So, the 60 million scf/d from Nigeria, which is even erratic, unavailable most of the time, is a small and insignificant part of the current Ghana gas supply story. With more supplies expected from new gas field under development, Ghana really doesn’t need to import gas.

Nonsense! How do you define suffering? This is a very stvpid thing to say. Ghanaians are suffering? And yet nigerians are arriving in Ghana in their thousands, every day grin in search of refuge cheesy grin

How? Is Ghana the poverty capital of the world? Do we have 16 million children out of school in Ghana? Have kidnappers, boko haram, armed robbers taken over Ghana? Life expectancy is 65 years in Ghana. What is life expectancy in Nigeria grin what is the health and education budget for Nigeria, compared with Ghana? Ghanaians enjoy regular electricity. How many hours of electricity do nigerians enjoy? angry grin what is the unemployment rate in Nigeria? grin chai grin

Inflation is currently 7% in Ghana. What is the current level of inflation in Nigeria? Chai, Sufferin* n Smiling grin Ghana’s economy is growing at 8.8%. What is the growth level of the nigerian economy? grin

Give your own growth rate first. I hope you know the IMF is concerned Nigeria could slip back into recession, huh? You are not even growing your economy fast enough to keep pace with population. That is disaster right there. grin

The truth is that nigerians love poverty n suffering grin why do you think the voted massively fir Buhari? grin the man promised to take them to the next level of poverty. And he is delivering in his campaign promise grin a nigerian falls into the poverty trap every six minutes. Calculate the number of poor people in Nigeria when his term ends in 2023. Someone even drank gutter water in your country, to celebrate buhari’s election wn grin chai
