Then they will get flooded if they cut the inflow of that river, the problem is our greedy leaders

they cant get flooded because they can do like cameroun and release excess water anytime without notifying us and flood us like cameroun constantly does

Chai. Who told you Rwanda is not richer than Lagos? Why are you assuming Rwanda can’t be richer than Lagos. If I can compare the standard of life in Rwanda, and that of Lagos, Rwanda is richer than Lagos, in my opinion. Or how do you define being rich or poor?

Lagos is richer than Rwanda. That is a fact.
Is Rwanda a top five African economy?
No they are not. Lagos alone is top 5 in GDP.
How many notable companies do you know that have their headquarters in Rwanda?
None.

Yes, they have a better standard of living due to a much better standard of governance.

They have done much with little, while lagos have done very little with much.

I doubt if the 3 countries combined have the population of some states in Nigeria. I believe population and landmass is part of our problems. To be honest Democracy will hardly work in this country with our differences.
we big pass America or China? Nigeria is not that big. Don't be deceived

[s]Even after they agree to pay the fees and then defaulted, Nigerians will always justify cheating against Nigeria.[/s]

Lol dont act dense if you can help it. I said in my initial comment the FG did right demanding payment for service. At the same time they're within their right to dam the river in the future.

Most DISCOs reject power because the govt alllows them to sell darkness ,I have done an in-depth study on this , prohibit the DISCOs from selling darkness then you solve the power problem ..Buhari has even mad it worse by paying GENCOS for any power the DISCOs reject . I heard the have spent over 700 billion naira on this already ... You seem to be a smart dude

they dont pay to supply darkness, they get paid to compensate for gas they purchased for electricity that tcn fails to transmit and discos shed off,. the truth is just like subsidy scam that they thought they stoped in this case power subsidy scam you qouted is unstopable

you definately know what's going on in the deep darkness of government - private sector delibrate scam.. but openly stating this kind of information is kind of dangerous

being rich is not a function of the size of your GDP. Why do you think Norway is often adjudged the richest country in the world? Is it because they have the biggest GDP? NO! It is simply because Norwegians have one of the highest standard of living. Life expectancy, access to quality education, health care, good roads, health care, food, water, electricity etc etc. jobs etc etc. Ultimately, it is not about GDP.

but you are borrowing from China to build your own rail. where will you get money to build for other countries

every country borrows for infrastructure, its like saying dangote is borrowing... nope he is investing even without capital

The first thing to show you are knowledge-able on Nigerian issues is that you don't trust or bandy any made in Nigerian data or statistics. They are always cooked. For example, landmass, population, economic growth forecasts, out or in school population, employment data etc; let alone the figures of electricity generation as bandied by a bunch of professional lairs in this APC government.

installed capacity is not an apc pdp thing as private sectors control gencos

Leeching countries, these ones owe us electricity bills, Ghana owes us gas bills.
Nigeria forming Father Christmas to these ungrateful leeches.
Getting everything for almost free from us, they'd still come online to insult us.
Thank God for Buhari, no other leader would've done this, we are now showing and telling them to respect Nigeria they depend on for survival

The richest countries have the biggest GDP.
GDP is productivity. That is where money comes from.

US, China, Japan, Germany, Brazil, India, UK, France.
These are the countries with the biggest GDPs, which means they are the richest because they make more money than everybody else.

Standard of living is a function of many other factors.
Governance, level of corruption, population, peace, e.t.c.

Sweden has a much higher standard of living than the United State, China or Brazil.
It doesn't make them as rich as those countries.

Here in Africa, there is far more money moving about in Lagos alone than in Rwanda.
That is what it means to be rich.

What you do with the money is another story entirely.

Very through bro, A manager at d Jebba dam told us in 2006 during our fielddwork visit to d Dam that; "if Guniea, Togo and Bennin Rep decided to build dam today along Fultajalon channel, that's goin to have serious impact on the level of water coming to Kanji and Jebba dam annually. And should that happen Kanji lake will dry off. So we are so wired connected together". No matter wether we have light or not d arrangements reached then must always be obey.

Assuming they dam up rivers up north do you believe Nigeria will use military force to stop them? Egypt been angry with Ethiopia over their dam construction. That's because the Egypt is nothing without the nile.
Let them dare na, Nigeria had decided to assert her power and position from now.
Population and economy wise, Naija is still bigger than all of them put together.
The era of father Christmas is over

i think most of US debts are intra government debt or bonds sold to their public and investors . only a fraction of the debt came from foreign government and this debt are in form of bonds

rail line extended from nigerian sea port to landlocked niger means we would control all their imports and export duty fees infact they would turn to our bitch economically and end up paying up for the loan used in constructing the rail

Bless you for educating him.

You know he's wrong about multiple facts. They wouldn't be economically dependent on Nigerian rail since Benin is an alternative. The next issue is niger hasn't agreed to loan yet. The rail would be great since it would bring millions of tons of cargo to lekki deep seaport.
