Proposal gone bad as man got much more than he initially planned after proposing to her dream girl but was immediately stopped by the father on the ground that he knew nothing of their relationship.

The man in question had went to the wedding with his sweetheart, and a planned proposal. He eventually walked up the girl in front of the church, did the normal kneeling, brought out the beautiful ring and ask the expected question.
But couldn’t get any answer as the pastor in charge stopped him, saying he was not aware of their relationship, and that the guy should do the normal thing by meeting him first and getting to know him before making advances on the daughter.
Though he apologized for any embarrassment caused.
