OP, this is a lipoma. The diagnosis is usually clinical, you don't need any specific test whatsoever to arrive at a diagnosis for this. It requires minor surgery. You will even be awake while they remove it though under local anesthesia. If you are in Lagos, visit Luth. You have nothing to worry about too because it is a benign growth...sellah!

Ensure you have a color Doppler ultrasound scan performed first to be sure it is really a Lipoma and not other malignant(cancerous) lesions. I am happy to guide you properly on the steps to take. Most hospital these days in Nigeria just want to take your money and head straight to surgery without proper diagnosis. Be guided Bro. Dm me if need be.

yea keep taking bicham ampiclos, sometime it gets itchy, nothing to worry about once you take paracetamol the itching will subside. So what the ampiclos does is to soften and convert it to boil,
then ask your loved one to remove the pus witha syringe
you will be fine

Go to the hospital for proper checkup and concilling

It is called lypoma. It's content is fat. With a minor surgery it can be removed. But you have to go to a good hospital, preferably government hospital.

Op, there is a programme on dstv that i always watch. It's called DR pimples popper. This is lypoma. I have seen the woman doctor remove them from alot of people. Just a little incision and a squeeze then the liquid(pap like) will start coming out. There is a bag that has to be removed when the liquid has all been squeezed out. If the bag isn't removed the bulge will appear again. I saw her treat someone with exactly the same issue as you and also on his back. Wish you well.

I saw too many of this during my surgical posting in BPSU unit. He still has to visit the hospital though. His history and examination of the mass will confirm the diagnosis. When he gets operated on, the excised mass will be taken for a laboratory test.

do not mislead people please. Even religion doesn't work in isolation. He should visit the hospital and back up with prayers for any medical condition. Sometimes, religion complicates things when we don't apply sense to things. What if a 'fake' pastor decides to use broom to cast so called demons from him and a part gets into the site of the growth and gets infected?

Lipoma until proven otherwise. Simple excision is all that is required. Do an ultrasound before surgery and take the tumor for histology to rule out a cancer.
