Within the same uni, they might consider. They could tell you to finish year one before changing or just grant the switch immediately.

However to cross to another uni, they might ask u to return to ur home country to reapply Cus u are changing sponsor. Though I think u could still apply to change sponsor while in the uk but sometimes their head dey touch

I’ve got two issues of concern. Firstly my partner has her degree qualification laminated which I just became aware of and I learnt that they don’t accept laminated certificates for application. The Uni says they can only issue a certified copy. What do we do pls? Will this be accepted? Also we were not aware that there’s a diff ielts format for UKVI and we already used the regular academic to get admission and CAS. Would this be accepted at application submission. I’ve been trying all TLScontact numbers but none is going through. Please help us coz she is to apply by the end of the month against January resumption. Thank you all.

Good day everyone. I applied on 27th Nov, and today is the 16th day for Standard application. I just called UKVI and they said a descision has been made already.

Please i want to know how long it usually takes for the passport to be available for pick up at TLS after descision has been made. Though i tried tracking it earlier and it has not shown to have been sent to VAC yet. Can a passport be ready for collection even without a mail or Track. I live close to TLS here in Abuja but i still dont want to rush in there without proper calculation or estimate. Lol

I'm about to apply for my Tier 4 Visa application, I'm I eligible to use a statement of account received from Micro finance bank or it has to be the one generated from a Commercial bank?

Reason I asked is because I've seen someone denied UK visit visa, the person used a
micro finance statement with a huge balance that he could not properly explain the source of the fund.

Base on this, can I use a micro finance bank statement of account or it is a must to use statement of account from commercial bank?

who is the "they dont accept laminated" ........ Also if the school already has provided you a CAS then . Maybe you use self service and upload the document yourself . Normally for Visa it would be the requirement of the school and if you use regular academic to get admission i would think that is sufficient . A lot of schools dont even bother with IELTS , Waec is sufficient if you have C6 in English

Hello , please who knows how Ukvi charge the £1.37 per min for calling them about an application that has gone beyond the 15 working days time frame..Is it from my phone credit or atm card?

Well, the person might not be able to guess the exact time but it's not about when you applied or when you submitted documents. There are quite a few schools like Teesside that gave spots to people that paid deposit early. If they are telling you that the January intake is full, then what it means is you didn't pay early enough which is what I assume the person is trying to point out.

I was also a victim of this, so I know. Its not anybody's fault per say. However, Teesside did wrong by not letting you know as soon as possible. They did send emails to people but due to a staff's mistake or negligence, you must have been ommitted. Not defending them but it's just for future readers to be able to know if they are picking schools like Teesside. (It is not a bad school but once admission time is getting nearer and you've not paid deposit, please ensure you contact the school before paying to avoid this situation.)

Judging from most decision letters, most times, a decision would have been made one week before they transfer to VAC
Once it's been transferred to VAC, pick up should be the next day. So keep tracking it and wait till they transfer it to VAC.

I mean at the VAC. She has her CAS already. So at self service, the documents are not sighted by any official, like go through it before they say u can upload ur self?

I had this same mindset at first. And I would give you the advise my sister, who introduced me to this thread gave me, if you can't read through these pages, which contain almost all the information you need, then you are not ready to study in UK.

So, bring out time, read through the first and second pages and then glance through most of the pages and you'd be good to go, then you can come back and ask specific questions where it concern you.

Nobody collect certificates from you.
Do a self service and upload during your application, only the school requires original copy at resumption.
You can carefully remove the lamination with blade.
Also, you can NEVER use general IELTS for UK Tier 4, did this person pass English at O'level? ask the school if they accept O'level English in lieu of IELTS.

Any account that has the money and is available for use not fixed which includes Microfinance because loans are accepted.
