I think iwobi will shine under ancelotti a attacking minded beast under him Chelsea destroyed premier league scoring 103 goals ancelloti can help Everton closed the gap between them and the top six like pochetino did with spurs
I agree. Ancelotti is the master of brilliant attacking play. I remember the game he lost to Mourinho in the Champions league, I think Quarter finals second leg. I keep hammering it was the best attacking display I ever saw in a game before the rise of Villas-Boas Porto.

I think Iwobi will enjoy Ancelotti when it comes to refining his play and making him understand his role in the midfield. He will get clearly defined instructions and know why he is suited to play a particular way. In turn mastering this will see an improved Iwobi.

Ancelotti is definitely one of the grand masters of the game and played a role in making quality midfield talents become even better with the likes of Pirlo, Kaka and lately Fabian Ruiz who Ancelotti improved by teaching him how to use space to excel and know the importance of understanding different positions on the field.

As TheSuperNerd pointed he did a master work on Mikel Obi who became the passmaster of the EPL. Exciting times ahead for Everton and Iwobi.

Let's not get too excited with Ancelotti nay IWOBI at Everton though @ isan because

1. Just like someone (I think subzero047) said in his unpopular opinion that IWOBI of 2015 is better than that of 2019 which I frankly agreed with

2. Iwobi was better in the above because he worked under Arsene Wenger who is like Ancelotti in terms of exposure and experience but with more quality players than Everton possess at present

3. With reference to 2 above, See pellegrini at West Ham United as compared to Manchester City days with respect to the anticipated Ancelotti in Everton as against AC Milan and Chelsea days. Everything still boils down to the quality of players on parade at the various points in time

4. Overall, a boost in the quality of the entire Everton squad would do the magic for both Everton and Iwobi and not necessarily the individuality of the Managerial hoodoos of Carlo Ancelotti

Nice points.

Just to point out that, despite Pellegrini not hitting highs at West Ham, we have seen the effect of his development method on Filipe Anderson, Declan Rice, Mikel Antonio has totally transformed into a fantastic box to box weapon. Even Ogbonna is looking better than before.

As long the players are effectively trained to improve, it is a win situation.

Ancelotti might not reach Kaka highs in his development of Iwobi and other players, but definitely there would a clearly visible improvement.

Arteta Identifies Key Staff He Wants at Arsenal and there’s a Nigerian on Board
By Adebanjo - December 18, 2019

With Mikel Arteta’s return to Arsenal almost certain, there are reports the Spaniard will raid Manchester City’s backroom and Support team as he looks to hit the ground running at Emirates.

Arteta who is now the front runner for the Managerial position at Arsenal is looking to bring in one of Pep Guardiola’s assistant at City’s Rodolfo Borrell.

The Spaniard is also keen to have Man City talent-spotter Sam Fagbemi join him.

As per Sami Mokbel [Daily Mail] Fagbemi, 25, currently leads City’s youth scouting strategy in the south, working closely with head of academy recruitment and talent.

The City scout has been responsible for a number of southern-based youngsters joining the Etihad academy in recent months, something that has not gone unnoticed by the Gunners.

Fagbemi played a key role in City’s successful moves for Millwall teenagers Sam Edozie, 16, and Darko Gyabi, 15, in the summer.

Josh Wilson-Eshbrand, 16, joined from West Ham and Ben Knight, 17, signed from Ipswich in the summer – two moves that were fronted by Fagbemi.

City’s ability to lure players north from clubs that are closer in proximity to Arsenal came as a frustration to the Gunners, and convinced academy director Per Mertesacker to hasten a significant shake-up of the the club’s youth recruitment personnel.
