Yes and I still maintain my position.

Because check out their contribution without bias with Batshuayi 18 games 7 goals and 3 assist even as a substitute as compared to Tammy with 24 games 13 goals and 5 assist as well.

Remember that Tammy has played 1,232 minutes of premiership football this season as against 107 minutes for Batshuayi with a total of just 449 minutes including his appearance in cup games with Tammy amassing 1,749 minutes

So which is better?

Having a hand in 10 goals for just 449 minutes of football by Batshuayi and 18 goals in 1,749 minutes by Tammy.

That's a whopping More than *4 of the opportunity given to Batshuayi

You're using PL 2 and EFL to make an argument?? All this shows is that Bats is Stat padding.
Why didn't you mention that Tammy has a better mins to goal ratio than Bats in the epl?
Bats got his opportunity many times and didn't take it.
As at this moment, no reasonable coach would dare pick Bats over an in form Tammy.

Its perplexing seeing Rangers eating banku in relegation zone. Antelopes can't seem to skip this season! But Akwa Starlets/Dakkada guys have been a revelation. No fear of foes, cool and collected plays (Especially Away).

Hopefully luck shines on the NPFL and one way or the other the games are on air. We deserve it

Rangers have been playing useless football for almost 2 months now, well they are not too big to be relegated.

We are likely to watch some of the games next year

Tottenham Hotspur are working on a deal to sign highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Eberechi Eze.

According to our colleague, Lilywhite Rose of Love Sport Radio, Spurs are in discussions with Queens Park Rangers regarding the permanent transfer of England U21 international, Ebere Eze.

The report added that the proposed transfer would see one or two Tottenham players join Queens Park Rangers as part of any deal.

Having burst onto the scene during the 2017-2018 campaign, Eze has grown from strength to strength and is having his best season as a professional, with 9 goals in 22 Championship starts.

Regarded as one of the top young players in the Championship by pundits, the 21-year-old was recently named as the second best performing Nigeria-eligible player in 35 European Leagues by CIES Football Observatory.

Eze has contractual obligations with Queens Park Rangers until June 2021 and is valued in the region of 20 million pounds.

Oshiomole killed sports in Edo state due to his lack of interest. Obaseki and his DG Shuabu tried reviving sports which they are still doing. In fact, the deputy governor made himself part of Bendel Insurance's officials and sometimes traveled with them while last season but they didn't survive relegation. They actually returned to the NPFL last season but back to the NNL.

Those Edo state is putting a lot of work into sports of recent, but to get back to senior football (League wise) will take a lot.

They have invested in both the male and female clubs this year, even made salary same for both clubs and upgraded Samuel Odemudia stadium.

Hopefully, the result of all these is seen in no distant time, but with the way Obaseki is having issues politics wise, I dey fear o!

The deputy governor earned being on the team from what I heard. He could actually play and was a good senior presence on the team. If that had happened somewhere else it will be a big beautiful story but because it is Nigeria there will always be doubt

You are dismissing his previous three seasons in the EPL and the y 2 seasons with Chelsea.

This is Tega first real season with Chelsea and he has relegated Giroud and Batshuayi.

Those previous seasons what did he do.

Sometimes the value of a player is only appreciated when he is not there. Tega dudnt play one game because of Injury and Chelsea looked like a toothless Lion.

There is not mathematical theory that intrinsically links outstanding quality and ability to number of minutes played.

Quite correct he made it in week 27 after his performance and goal scored. Proven and established with regard to week 27.

I should have said he hasn't made it in a long time prior to week 27, that would be more exact. As you know "a long time" doesn't have a particular unit of measurement.

So what exactly are you intending to prove❓

What is the substance of your argument and or view as the case may be. Because you do not seem to present any.

Yes football is opportunity but what do you expect from a player that has seen just 107 minutes of premiership football this season?

Compared to Tammy that has been on the pitch for 1,233 minutes of premiership football.

It's like you are expecting the same result from both of them. Isn't it?

I will say this again.

You don't have a right to play, You earn the right to play by what you do in training and on the field of play. You perform you play you don't perform you don't play.

It's very simple.

We arrive at the same conclusion he did not perform.

Minutes played is not the decider of quality or goals that will be scored.

Victor Osimhen: Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham monitoring Lille striker

Nigeria international Osimhen is joint-third top scorer in Ligue 1 this season

By Lyall Thomas

Sky Sports

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are among a host of clubs monitoring the Lille striker Victor Osimhen, Sky Sports News understands.

However, the Nigeria international is expected to stay at Lille for the rest of the season unless the French club receives a January offer that is too good to refuse.

The 20-year-old is said to be happy at Lille and his priority is to help them secure qualification to next year's Champions League, while continuing to develop his game.

The club are currently third in Ligue 1, four points behind second-place Marseille but 11 behind league-leaders Paris Saint-Germain, and Osimhen has scored 12 goals in all competitions so far.

Two of those came in the Champions League, including one against Chelsea in a 2-1 home defeat, as Lille went on to finish bottom of Group H.

He had been developing under the guidance of assistant manager Joao Sacramento, who is now Jose Mourinho's number two at Spurs.

Lille's sporting director Luis Campos, who signed Osimhen from Belgian side Charleroi in the summer, is also known to be a good friend of the new Tottenham boss.

Osimhen, who has also spent time at Wolfsburg in Germany, is currently the second-highest performing striker in Ligue 1 behind Wissam Ben Yedder, according to Wyscout data, above the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Memphis Depay.

And Osimhen, who has four goals in nine caps for Nigeria, still has four-and-a-half years left on a five-year deal he signed with Lille in 2019.

You are 2 sided bro

You expect someone what plays 10 minutes to be prolific like someone who plays 90 minutes?

Clap for your self

Na here we go dey wey you go change mouth and you go use minutes defend your favorites

I will remind you when its time

That's not what l am saying.

My position has been consistent and without variation.

My view is very simple, More Minutes played is not a mathematical equation that automatically equates to more goals will be scored.

For example how many minutes did Solanke get at Liverpool. Not a lot but did he do anything substantial with it CAPITAL NO. That's why they didn't give him anymore minutes to waste and sold him to the mugus Bournemouth.

So now he has gone to Bournemouth for £20 million and is playing a way lot more minutes than he has ever done. How many goals has he scored ❓ Zero NUTTIN.

This your theory and or assumption is just WISHFUL THINKING.

Solanke didn’t get more minutes at Liverpool but solanke got more minutes to get more than 1 Epl goal

He was sold for good amount because he is going and promising

Forget say I dey Yab am call am waste man ,thee is still enough time on his side

Besides you dey call my guy Issac success waste man

But should I remind you Isaac success has done more in the Epl than solanke ?

Anyway that’s not our arguement sha
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Philosopher1979: 6:28pm On Dec 19, 2019
This mathematics is based on probability. Probability and statistics are the sciences of inexactness. If a player does not play well
given he has less minutes per game to prove himself, the probability that he is a bad player is maybe 55% BUT if a player does not play well and he features for 90 minutes everytime, then the probability he is a bad player is probably 85%.

Now players perform badly for different reasons it might be formation, loss of interest or anything. some players play well in one club and do not play well in another club. Miky batshuayi's probability of being a bad player is 55%.
One interesting variation is Kelechi Iheanacho. He does not play often but the few times he plays, he plays well and even scores and thus the jury is still out on him. If Iheanacho moves to another club where he is featured regularly, then he will play well as he has proven himself with the few chances he has.
However, probs and stats is not an exact science

He is absolutely not a lazy striker.

I don't know what your background in football is. But you need to look at the matter with more depth.

For this reason a player that will excel in one club and Manager can completely flop in another one.

However, excellent players have a capacity to adapt and excel in any type of league or club.

Benteke is the quintessential POINT MAN and a true No.9. He needs the ball to be played a particular way for him to thrive. A way that aligns itself to his particularly skills set.

When a cross is made into the box with Benteke in the box. It's not a 50-50 ball. It's more like 30-70 in favour of Benteke. Ball to feet with Benteke in the 18 he bullies defenders.

But Liverpool did not play to his strengths and neither is Crystal Palace.

This is why teams that thier focal point is one main striker ( apart from Messi) create a situation where that players unique skill set is over emphasised and may make him better than he is. Because the entire team strategy and culture is created to enhance the one player.

Take him out of that set up and you may see a dramatic drop in performance.

It's a very subjective question.

You have to know him personally to answer that. I have met but l really don't know him personally.

At City I knew him to be a very generous and considerate guy, in all honesty a joker who was quite childish sometimes.

I think after his time at Liverpool he found some peace at Nice. But he is never really settled since he left Inter in my opinion.

There are a lot of issues surrounding Balotelli at times his matter is complicated.
