MUSIC is versatile, not every song. Has to Be meaningful to everyone. That’s his style , he isn’t forcing anyone to follow suit. I know his music but can’t have any on my phone , how will that influence me? What positivities has the country itself provided for its citizens? Abeg let’s face what faced us jare

Stupid write up.

The government should be your major concern and not an individual.

Before NM broke into limelight, the youths have started doing drugs, fraud, prostitution etc. The system made them this way.

Do a write up on bad leadership and poor parenting and act like you have SENSE for once.

Naira is least of your problems!!!

People are more concerned with feeling morally superior than understanding a problem.

Its about feeling good about yourself than understanding why he has so much supporters.

They probably think his supporters are stupid and their support is one proof of their stupidity.

You will make zero progress solving the conundrum whilst viewing people through that lens.

Leaders who don't provide good schools, good hospitals, good roads, and instead steal all the money... are they the ones who should be complaining about the youths that they raised?

But seriously, every generation since Plato has complained about the deterioration of morals in the youths.
Imagine what Nigerian parents were saying about those 1960's highlife kids who just want to dance and drink and hang out in music joints. Then another generation complained about the kids of the disco 70's who just wanted to dance and smoke. Then they complained about those kids in 80's who just want to breakdance and wear jerry curls. Now those parents who danced and smoked in 60's 70's 80's are complaining about kids doing the very same thing in 2010's.

And I won't be surprised to read that Naira Marley himself complains about "kids these days" in 2040's.

Thank You!

The redundant nature of our current music is a direct reflection of our nation's booming redundancy.

That's the role of the artist in the society

Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Didier Dambrin and the likes didn't wait for a failing government for support, it all depends on the level of knowledge and map of strategy to make it out, don't draft a mediocre idea that's really not new to the system, find a way you don't need approval from anyone to get your bread straight, no be say me i get money or serious knowledge brother, but that's my perception amidst they yahoo yahoo generation.

There's a level of knowledge you can acquire that you don't need to depend on a politicians stupid ruling, we as youths are all dependent on our government because we are empty up stairs.

U r empty upstairs.. that is y u don't know an ailing economy affects every aspect.. Nigeria is abt 2 borrow again.. adding 2 our huge debt.. m sure u don't knw that.. we don't depend on d politicians but we depend on d wicked n dumb policies they make coz we av no choice... On average of 400- 1000 Doctors leave Nigeria each year.. The WHO regulation is 600 citizens 2 a Doctor.. Naija has 4500 citizens 2 a Doctor.. in d next 5 years it could rise 2 10,000 to a Doc... Big conglomerates are leaving.. Companies now prefer contract staff coz of cost.. Entrepreneurs are feeling it.. How much more someone who has a bright idea n wants 2 act.. D safest businesses 2 venture into in Naija now is Real Estate, Sports Betting, Fin-Tech n Food..

He didn't force anyone to download and listen to his songs
if you insist he doesn't not have meaningful lyrics what of the beat? And when do we start listening to lyrics. In Nigeria
youth love this guy, if not how will you sold out a concert in two hours I guess
leave this guy alone before you make him more famous again

Mali or Malian are fools. They reflect the dark side of street life. Their depiction of street is awe full and unfair to street. That you from street should not make you embody all things negative or make case for wrong behaviors.

I grew up with lakpalakp (ringworm). I had kwashokor, growing up. We were that poor. But I learnt the good side of street. Some things Come with the territory. But decipline is key to life.

If any street boy is listening, naira market is your worst enemy. I mean your worst enemy. I am far Streeter than mali. But in a humble sense..no be something to take rake. It's what it is.

I was a eiye boy in school so was most of kids from rich homes. Whenever things sup. And arrest made. Their family cone for them and bail them as quick as possible. The poor ones remain there and rot away. Next thing you know they have been sent abroad. New start. The poor kid never get a second chance. But this rich kid keep getting chances till they figure themselves out.

My point as a poor street kid. Wise up fast. Mistake are made by the rich and poor kid alike..however, only one sometimes get to pay dearly. If you are arrested for following Mali or act out his templates. God help you. I mean God help you. God bless brother. You just summarized my life too. ' I choose the good side of the street life ' even when I had option to choose the ' Marian way'...

The bottom line is what is bad is bad. I dont listen to cardi B too cos of her crudeness. She is no different from marley, we dont havve to like n sing songs because we wanna feel current and among. Wen u sing such lyrics ask urself, is this the man i want to be.
Marley is a disease to the youth n anyone who dont see him as such is a diseasd person himself
