With advance technology, I didn’t have to go through the regular Customs & Immigration Line.

As a United States Citizen, I was directed to the smart gate & all I had to do was scan my U.S. Passport & the machine takes my picture and grants me access into London.

The whole process took less than 3 minutes.

This is beautiful

I believe the U.S. still remains number one for IT Professionals.

They do make a lot of money.

But UK gets bumped to number two because I heard Professional IT contractors make a lot of money as well.

So Australia & Canada are tied for the third spot.

Thanks again

But it’s bit harsh to compare to that ikorodu situation. One should be careful anywhere they go.

I’m just saying, what happened to that man is very unfortunate but the murder seems very targeted and personal. There is definitely more to the story.

You made a valid point. The reality is those things are perception. As a Nigerian, you have the Ecowas to explore but how many Nigerians have explored all countries. Blue passport doesn't automatically translate to travel. I have met several Americans who have been to a state or two. While 2/3 don't even have a passport. If you have the passport tomorrow you won't attach such importance to it as you may imagine. A friend of mine even denounce his citizenship, while some older ones from Nigeria are now fighting for contracts with the locals.
But if you love traveling and you have the means then you can Max it.
In addition, travelling cost money too especially for those with family.

Your watchword as you arrive Nigeria should be safety. This country is a Wild Wild West. #realistperspective

PS
Be careful with the women too. A lot of them are desperate to leave the shores of this country by any means possible..even if it means lying about being pregnant. I trust you to play wise though.

Wrong, the uk has one of the worst salaries in the world for a IT for a developed country

An abroad based Nigerian lady will rather die single than coming home to get hitched.

You yourself acknowledged it in one of your comments. undecided
I know lol, but we can help them change through preaching and enlightenment.

Most of them are scared that once they bring the guy over, he will dump them, u know most women are insecure, they worry so much about their man breaking their heart, so they need assurance.

And lastly, ladies love marrying up....to them, going back to Nigeria to marry a Nigerian based guy means settling for less lol when its not entirely the truth cos the guy could end up becoming their pillar in future.

Well , I know our African culture but times are changing and some women are making more money than men.
You right but even if the woman is making more money than the man, the man if he wants to maintain the African marriage balance should strive to be the breadwinner of the home while his reasonable wife supports him in her best capacity.

But my advice to single guys out there is, don't expect your wife to share equal financial responsibility with you as the husband. Work and pray to be able to cater for your family, and I am sure if your wife is responsible and reasonable enough, she knows the right thing to do.

I have a cousin who lives in Germany with his wife and kids. His wife works, he too works, and I guess his wife earns more but he never considered his wife's income, he made sure he provided for the home while his wife supports.

To his greatest surprise, they returned home last year for Christmas, and it was his 45th birthday, as they landed in Lagos, his wife told him that let them go and visit his brother who lives in Lagos before they travel to the village for Christmas. So they did, and the brother took them to a mansion, guess what The wife built the mansion; one storey building with 4 blocks of flats....the woman gave the key to her husband as his birthday gift.

She used her money to build it for the past 4 years they were away from Nigeria, and she handed it over to her husband as birthday gift. Now they own a house in Lagos which they have rented out to people and earning money from all thanks to the wife's wisdom and virtuousness.
