About the saqa thingy, go to saqa website, register, download and fill the forms and make payment

Then send them certified copies of the following documents

Degrees certificate
Transcripts
Data page of your passport
The required forms that you filled

Then send it to them via courier then would acknowledge receipt of the documents then contact your school for verification.

Please send them all the required documents else they will refund your money

SAQA is backed by South African law hope that's enough guarantee for thee.

I submitted all documents to SAQA September this year and my School sent them my transcript on 11th October, still now I do not hear thing from SAQA. I don't understand what is going on

Thecassanova:

No, it’s during the program you’ll apply for MSc. The honours has a research component & you’ll most likely get a supervisor the following year for your Msc.

Thanks for your reply, i think that is better

Email them or DM them on Twitter about the stage of your saqa. They’re very swift in their response.

Hello all, just to drop something positive....
so I applied for South African visit visa on the 11th of this month at the Vsf office in Port Harcourt and i picked it up on the 20th from same place with 3 months visa in it.
I have been to USA thrice, china twice, SA once.... I heard having a previous sa visa shortens subsequent visa processing time. Quess that helped...

For the first time am happy I didn’t check Nairaland first b4 applying bc I would have been discouraged to apply with the many delays n refusal here.

After reading most of this page and seeing many long processing time,I was already planning a withdrawal by January cos I need to use my passport for sth else by January and boom, I got a msg to come pick up my passport... I couldn’t believe it, I was so relieved, wasn’t even worried about not getting the visa, just knowing the result on time was sweet....

Please if you want to apply, do so without fear, every case is different!
Good luck!

Good morning guys. Please I want to submit my Visa application for study permit by next week, but I want to find out few things from here.

I will be submitting Affidavit of age declaration instead of birth certificate, am I expected to certify the certificate of age declaration, or should I just submit a photocopy?

Secondly, am I supposed to certify any of my documents before submitting them?

Thirdly, can someone help me out on how to reserve flight? I am finding it very difficult to do that, and I won't like to pay anyone for that.

Please guys, since i am going to be submitting my bank statement alongside that of my sponsor, is it advisable to submit it alongside my business certificate of incorporation, I have stated in my visa introduction letter that I wish to return back to Nigeria after my one year study as I have my business to look after.

NB: I am applying for a study permit, and I have about 2.1m in my account. My sponsor has about 2.2m in his account.
Thanks

Here you are encouraging people to get into South Africa illegally in the name of motivational speaking.

Let me keep kwayet about this asylum thingy, in due course you will find out for yourself.

Are you minding him?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if there's a fast-track for a visitor's visa for SA.

I've been there on a few occasions 6 years ago.

Have extensive travel history and would be travelling for work.

How long do you reckon visa issuance might assuming there's no fast-track?

There's no fast track
Hopefully your extensive travel history may work in your favour, there are no hard and fast rules

Oh wow.

Well, we can only try but i'm hard pressed by time.

I'll have about 22 days for passport renewal - and then visa application.

Not looking good.

The birth certificate stuff is for minors, read the instructions well...

You will need to certify your last degree. That is, BSc if you are going for MSc. Just do Certify to True copy.

For flight reservation, go to South African Airways, book flight. Choose return not one way, make the return 3 months to proposed date of travelling... Click on pay later. You will receive a mail titled "Travel document". Print it. Do this a day to when you are going to VFS.

Hope this helps.

thanks so much for your response, I actually lost my birth certificate, so I had to go get Affidavits from court, does it mean that I can't submit the age declaration in place of my misplaced birth certificate?? What do you mean by Birth certificate is for minors??
