I don't even subscribe on glo. I just bought their 4G sim and I'm curious to know if my phone supports their 4G in my location. The speed I'm getting on their 3G network during the day here is 20-50KB/s, and there's no way I'll waste my cash on any major subscription on such network, even if they sell 12GB for 1000

My phone still isn't displaying the 4G network after their representative said the sim has been provisioned for 4G. That's why I wanted to be sure it's something related to band issue, and not the customer service giving me the wrong information

It could be your APN settings. Compare with the APN settings on your brother's RN5 or create a new APN. Check google for your networks APN.

I was using the local one i bought 9k. But it was a total waste of money. The sound is not as good at all compared to Soundcore Motion+ and it didn't last more than 2 months.

If i see someone rocking these local, I'll just laugh inside me and notice the speaker is no longer working after few months of purchase

It's on the notification bar, it's just for wireless display/mirroring/ cast. It's not useful in my opinion. Maybe because I hardly have time to Cast. And Dstv makes it almost impossible to watch anything else. But if you have love for watching selected movies without discomfort from your phone to your tv. I will gladly switch my smartview for an IR blaster. Because IR blaster is far more practical and useful. If your tv is not smart, Smartview becomes totally useless.

They will reply later. They always reply late, they might even call you self. I experienced the same thing when I bought a 2nd glo sim. They later called and activated it for me.

I'm really happy how far this thread has gone. Obviously this is one of the biggest threads on NL after the Bbnaija, Super Eagles and Manchester United thread. Also despite the constant trolling and the rather obsurd allegations, like we have a cabal and we behave like cultists LOL Xiaomi is still growing,and this year they entered Nigeria with a large success. We've also helped harbour other phone companies like oneplus, LG, Lenovo and and so on. We shouldn't forget that we've also helped people in their personal issues, like advice on AliExpress threads, solutions and work arounds, also with advice on what school to attend and all that.
