The only way they could have escaped from this was if they went in with masks making it impossible for the people in the bank to identify them, then exchange clothes with hostages and release all hostages at the same time, inserting themselves among the hostages....

Too late. Your criminal brothers Shebi Osisikanwu, Vampire, Derico have all been arrested. You can join them in prison if you love them so much since armed robbery and drug trafficking are your generational inherited profession.

Nigerian armed robbers are big time mumu, no strategy in their game at all

how can you be robbing in a city that has beef up security since the last bomb blast, city that has military and police check point secretly in almost all corner, undercover police everywhere.

Now nowhere to escape for them, best thing na to surrender and enter prison instead of playing hid and seek with police and army.

...or kill themselves and enter hell!

Hunger will teach them lesson. Are they aware that they are being watched and they are already preys to these lazy security men. I only pity the innocent people trapped with those stupidly daring goats

incidentally, i'd hoped Abuja had some sort of building aestheticism and structure standards or is this bank a rogue ghetto sett-up? (it is that disappointingly poor looking and indicative of paucity of ambition on some authorities part) thought Abuja was going to stand for excellence and example of the pleasant affects of planning...

That place is Mpape. A squalor sort of and most of the buildings are not approved.

There have been series of demolition notices but government always bucked at the last moment
