Bevista: I like the intelligence and objectivity in your comment. I am not surprised at the youths with low IQ who are already defending Saraki with no knowledge of the matter. The Saraki Family mercilessly raped the State for decades. The Governor should be commended for his courage and not "letting things slide." The same idiots complaining about poor leadership in Nigeria are here defending Saraki. If you know how the tenants on that land were mercilessly evicted.... how Saraki Family appropriated Government land..... Sadly, from look of things, the Governor might not even get 2nd term because of APC infighting and lazy folks who want free largesse of the previous administrations that have since ceased. |

rilikalid:So if it was wrongly allocated i.e. stolen since 1980s....Kwara State Government should just let sleeping dogs lie ? Africa can NEVER develop with people who reason like you who are unfortunately in the majority. So pathetic that m0rons here are attacking someone doing the right thing. If Bukola knows the land was properly gotten he should focus on the courts instead of whipping public sentiments. |

AfroKnight:Nothing like witch hunt,if the name was changed that was part of the last minutes games he played using Abdulfatai before handling over which 99% of kwarans don't know, let me add this, why did they employed over 400 civil servants just 26 days before handling over to Abdulrahman? Like i usually say,if you live in kwara you would know. |

I have spent about 30years in Ilorin, and all I can tell you is Bukola Saraki is shameless. You were Governor for 8 years, senator for 8 years and you couldn't build yourself a house. If Gov. Abdulrazaq had been a vindictive person, Saraki will be in jail already, but the man is just going about doing the best he can. That doesn't mean he should not take back what belongs to Kwara state that was stolen, just like Wike is taking back Rivers Oil wells from Bayelsa. This particular piece of land converted for personal use is not being used for anything tangible o, it's just take and keep. Now the governor wants to use it for it's intended purpose, I believe he should be applauded by all, party affiliations irrespective. |

Staro:Read up the Land Use Act (LUA). All lands are vested on the governor. Certificate of occupancy gives you ownership for 99 years which can be revoked but you will be compensated. Now, what Tinubu did to Ambode can only be tolerated by a weakling as a seating Governor. if na me , Bourdillion would have been a public children Park. Gov El rufai demolished Sent Hunkuyi's house within 12hours of serving demand notice. Heaven didn't fall. from a Surveyor desk |

Land use degree of 1978 gives the Governor power to take over any land as overriding public interest whether they have C.of O. of the said land or not. The government will only compensate according to the law. ikennamadu1: |

abusurv:I hope when table turns, you won't accuse Saraki of being the one behind fall of the current governor? Even Saraki said the governor should focus on developing their state instead of chasing Saraki up and down. What I know is that all pdp members have learned their lessons and when the table turns |

Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has shown that its cardinal Programme is to wage war against my late father and I. He has demonstrated that his only competence and astuteness is in the area of viciously assailing the late Oloye Saraki and I. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq continue wageing that war we are behind u ooto geee, yes and u and ur late father must face the consequences of what u both put kwara people's into at the past, the polities of today is beyond the mamala politics of yesterday. |

So Bukola can cry as well. The legacy that his father acquired in legal or illegal ways? Let him n his family go to court if they think AA is trying to victimized them. The same Bukky that tried to eliminate Lawal and what he stand for in Kwara n now crying foul playing. KWASU was named after his dad in padded way n did he think the serious Government will leave it behind with their atrocities without doing anything |

ambu2:Of course, the average Nigerian takes advantage of looting each other. Ordinary xenophobic attack, Nigerians took the opportunity to loot n maim their selves. Tell me what I don't know. That excuse does not hold water cos it's an endless rat race. If Saraki's father acquired the property and it's been used over the years, mind you that has been their property over the years before 1999, how does it snatching justify the action in 2019? So if your had a property that's rightfully his and somebody use his mighty hand to deprive you of what rightfully your father's on personal grounds, you will be applauding abi, maybe it needs to happen to you to learn! |

Maxymilliano:Revocation of Ile Arugbo Landed Properties: How I wish Bukola Saraki have a flashback to 2003 when he became Kwara State Governor. For your information, especially for those who were young and did not know what really happened then in 2003; 1- Immediately he assumed office, he dissolved all the 16 LGAs Chairmen in Kwara State and replaced them with TIC Chairmen. 2- He dissolved all the Development Areas, DAs, created by Governor Lawal. 3- Bukola Saraki destroyed most of the legacy achievements and projects of ex-Governor Lawal and changed names of some projects to bear Saraki's name. 4- He victimized ex-Governor Lawal and all his cabinet members even after they left office to the extent, some of them were chased out of Kwara State. 5- Idi-Ape, family compound of ex-Governor Muhammed Alabi Lawal was burned down to ashes by Bukola government. 6- Licence of a Nursery and Primary School duly owned by Mrs Aisha Lawal along Admiral Villa drive was revoked by Bukola government because she was ex-Governor Lawal's wife. 7- Idi-Ape Dried Fish Market was relocated and moved away from Idi-Ape to Ipata Market because Saraki's dynasty was fighting ex-Gov. Lawal. There are numerous atrocities committed by Bukola Saraki against the ex-Governor Lawal. If your father illegally took into his possession Kwara State properties because he was all in all at the time in question, that does not stop a new government to revoke this properties for public use. You maligned, disrespected, victimized, calloused and destroyed many before you. What goes around, surely comes around. You are tasting out of the brute broth you prepared years ago. My advice to you as you said in your press release is to approach court of law for bitter taste of bile adjudication. Please stop disturbing the airways again. |
