The pool pumps were actively working when they swam in. The water pressure from the pumps would keep them underwater than necessary and if strong enough, might keep them in a swirl or vortex, forcing water into their lungs.

Do you get it now?

That's the filter. Ideally, the filter should run continuously in the pool. Fresh water comes in and dirty particles are removed through the underground filter. And the cycle continues. Laymen call it pump. But it's the filter. And that's a normal thing in a standard pool. I rarely swim in pools without functional filter!

I repeat, no good Swimmer could drown at just about 7 feet swimming pool.

The conclusion that the pool was safe by the hotel management was very quick. I mean, how could it be that quick that the pool was okay?

The hotel should have CCTV; the video should be examined to know if the girl fell into the pool or otherwise.

Yet the girl's cap was found stuck in the filter system...check the speed of the filter or pump system. Something went wrong. The woman won't be lying if her husband and kids couldn't swim na.

How does a 9 year old lose her footing in a 6 1/2 pool, and why did the parents allow her to swim in such a deep pool.

This is pure negligence on the part of the parents. A 9 year old kid has got no business swimming in such a deep pool. She also said her husband walked into the pool to save the struggling kids using the stairs which is a clear indication that he does not know how to swim.

From experience, 80% of people who claim they could swim could only wiggle and wriggle in the water. They really don't swim well.

Like 3 years ago, a man in his late forties came to the pool and saw us diving and jumping into the pool. He asked us the depth of the pool, and we told him 12, 10, 8 and 4 feet in that graduations. We asked if he's a Swimmer and he said, Yes. The man went to change, then came back and jumped into the 10 feet section. And he began to struggle and to drown. His wife started calling for help, and we quickly rescued him. To him and his wife, he could swim. But in reality, he's not a good Swimmer. If he'd died, the wife must have been telling the world that the husband was a good Swimmer.

Be reminded also that the underground filters have sieves and that would even reduce the auctioning pressure.

Those kids shouldn't be inside that pool in the first place because it is way too deep for them and if the man could swim like she claimed, he would have dived into the pool and not use the stairs when he tried to save them.

Why not send the bodies to Daddy G.O so that he can resurrect them? Or they only perform miracles when the beneficiary is an unverifiable stranger? It takes scenarios like this to expose the shenanigans of pastors. Are they special people that speak directly to God? I doubt it. They are stealing in the name of God which is why the wife couldn't wait for Almighty God to send down fire and brimstone to annihilate the perpetrators. Instead she is searching for justice in a court manned by mortals.

Religion is a BIG SCAM. It is an opium of the feeble-minded. No amount of denial can negate the truth.

That's very much possible..... as well as none of them can swim. She needs video evidence as proof to show they knew how to swim. It's common for people who don't know how to swim drown while trying to rescue others.

The fact that there was no lifeguard at the pool, at the time of the incident makes the owners culpable.

The question now is, how much compensation is enough compensation?

Not true, I don’t know of any public pool or beach that have 24hrs lifeguard.

There are posted signs indicating when lifeguards will be on duty and when they will be off and also notice that you swim at your own risk.

If her husband was a good swimmer, the natural response would be for the father of the children to dive into the pool, instead of using the pool stairwell. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Pool pulps are circulation systems and incapable of generating enough current to pull a human body anywhere.

Everything left floating in the pool ends up in the filter or attached to one of the intake valves.

Also her narrative that they were pulled to the center of the pool is in direct conflict with the fact that her hat was pulled to the pool filter intake.

Pool filter intakes are located at the side of the pool and very close to the surface, about less than a feet below the water level. If pool pulp was pulling them, it would have pulled them towards the pool filter intake or the other intake located on side of the pool and not the center of the pool.

The only valve usually located at the center of a pool and at the bottom of the deep side is the the drain valve, use to drain water from the pool and empty it and only use during pool maintenance and not when the pool is in use and that too does not have enough force to pull a body.

So all their end of year prayers are fake? Yeah! Fake as hell! Why didn't holy goat, father and son plus all the warrior angels rescue them but WATCHED THEM ALL DROWNING and enjoying the drowning show of death from heaven above? And can't holy ghost reveal the mystery behind their death? Where is DADDY G. O. who used to eat breakfast and speak with father, son and holy goat plus mother, daughter and spirit? Rubbish!

The Spanish legal system and policing is completely different, bordering on lack utter transparency and procedural complications. Anyone remember the case of the missing girl, Madeleine McCain? The poor and unprofessional fashion in which the investigating team dealt with the matter meant that mystery became almost impossible to solve, even with 5h3 interventions of the a London Met.

Well...actually...it is possible to drown in just 3 inches of water. If you're wondering how, think of being unconscious in a bathtub. If the girl fell into the pool and tried to take a breath at the same moment as she went under water, she would have lungs full of water and be in distress. If father went in after and she clutched at his neck for her own safety, this is often how would-be rescuers become victims themselves. Along with learning how to swim, learning water rescue is highly advisable.

Without a CCTV footage of the incident, all most of us can do is speculate. Check out the story below where a 6 year-old girl almost drowned at a similar or same Spanish resort (the pool picture looks so similar to the one in question) in August of this year (4 months ago). While the specific scenario might be different, its interesting to note that the resort also disputed with the girl's father on the facts of the story in that instance.

IN TOO DEEP Screaming girl, 6, ‘sucked into swimming pool pump and left trapped for three hours in agony’ on Costa del Sol holiday

A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl was sucked into a swimming pool pump and left trapped for three hours in agony while on holiday in Costa del Sol, her family claim.

Terrified Zara Clarkson desperately had to keep her head above water for hours as firefighters armed with jackhammers smashed through the pool's concrete wall to free her.

Zara had her arm badly damaged in the pool side incident at Costa del Sol
Zara Clarkson's arm was sucked into the pool while she swam while on a family holiday

The little girl's arm has since swollen three times its normal size - with doctors fearing she could have suffered blood poisoning from the suction.

Dad Zack, 46, of Manchester, said: "Zara was panicking and screamed out ‘daddy the pool is sucking me and it won’t stop'.[b]

"Something with that kind of suction would have easily pulled a smaller child under the water and they would have been killed."

Zack said his instinct had been to drag his daughter’s arm out but he stopped knowing this risked causing even greater damage.

Instead, he stayed "cheek to cheek" with Zara keeping her calm as emergency services attempted to saw open the pool’s drainage system.

He said: "She is a brave little kid but of course, but it has had an effect on her, she is really upset and has told us she never wants to go swimming again."

The dad and daughter were enjoying their first family holiday at the luxury villa in Estepona with Zara’s twin sister Lucy and their mum Claire, 42, having only brought the property in the Villas de Santa Maria at Christmas.

But the trip was ruined as little Zara became stuck on Friday, with dramatic images showing the poolside patio torn up circular saws and drills used by emergency services.

Zack added: "I am a tough lad but my first thought was to go to the corner of the pool and have a quiet sob.

Zara’s mum Claire added: "It was unbearable, I felt helpless and just wanted her out."

Doctors now fear that the force of the suction may have forced toxins to be released into Zara’s bloodstream.

It had been claimed in respected local newspaper Diario Sur that the pump switch was turned off at the time of the incident but Zack denied it.

Many private pools in the U. S at hotels and apartment complexes don't have lifeguards. You swim at your own risk. Only public pools have lifeguards. It takes a few minutes to drown. If you don't know how to swim correctly you have no business being in the swimming pool. Children should not swim without floaters except they are very very good competitive swimmers or there is an adult professional swimmer that can rescue them. In fact professional swimmers usually train in pairs to avoid stories that touch. Drowning is not a joke. On the flip side the pool pump system could be faulty but my guess is that they didn't have a professional swimmer on their entourage who could dive in and take charge of the situation. A good swimmer can still save someone from drowning even under bad currents.
