This thread is indeed very powerful.
I will likely take a semester break next semester and focus on learning Deutsch to B1 level within 6 months from A1 level I am now.
I need the language like crazy now.
I have already seen the school and it will cost me 500 Euros.
Then in addition, I will like to learn Python programming (data analysis which is needed in my field later) but I don't really know how to start since I don't have any damn programming skills apart from the C++ boring course we did in my BSc level where the lecturer was writing codes on the board grin

Hello, this seems like a great idea cool. If I were you, I would focus solely on the German course during that 6 months. If you are going to work, let it be part-time. It's easy to get distracted during semester break.

There are many resources to learn programming online. I can't advice you on which one to use.

That boring C++ you learnt you will appreciate it when you start learning programming online, it will help you. I will advise you to start with PYTHON....

I currently work as an android developer without a CS degree in Nigeria. Though I plan applying for an IT course in Germany.
I learnt Java while participating in Udacity android basics and android developer nanodegree.
I believe there are numerous resources to learn Java online.
There is a course on udemy by imtiaz Ahmad, which was helpful and you can get a study guide for OCAJP on amazon.com too.
I don't necessarily subscribe to starting over with a bsc. You can apply for apprenticeship software developer positions in Germany. Some don't require CS degree.
There are courses on compilers like the one from Stanford online too. You just need to google and whatever CS topic you want to learn. You can always get a book.

You are right. If you are not careful, the love of money will make you spend more time working which I never want

Non, you have to learn German to c1 level, then apply for studenkolleg, but in the course of learning you can apply to studentkolleg with B1 or B2 certificate in German.

This thread is to discuss life in german, please refer your question about studying in Germany to the sister group, because your next question may not be attended to.

You can see .. that you are already 'spamming' this thread with your request... go to the other thread, that is more active on admission related topics.
..go to daad.de and search.

Great idea. I started learning Python here due to certain constraint with my internship job search. I had no knowledge of CS from background. But God has been helpful. Here is a land that requires what you can do for the system before any consideration. You can start free course online with below. Search for sololearn python certificate.

Thanks, I just bought Python on Udemy (The Complete Python Masterclass: Learn Python from Scratch) and its really wonderful. I also went through our course modules and discovered that Python/Matlab will be actively used in three courses and prior knowledge is desired to pass the courses though they will briefly introduce it for beginners. Right now, I don't wanna learn many programming language. I just wanna learn Python and be very good at it

Pocket money should be 400,000 plus.... €1000 multiply by the conversion rate.

Flight fee shouldn't be more than 200,000, highest 250,000

Money for clothes and foodstuffs... How many clothes you wan buy? 5 jeans is okay boss smiley

If you go to where the Chinese people dey sell clothes for Lagos, tell them you wan buy 5 jeans and shirts at dozen price. That should reduce the money you already have in mind to spend.
