I saw one like that, they went to the Registry on a Thursday morning, the Reception/Introduction/Traditional was done inside the garage at the guy's apartment.
The lady sewed skirt and blouse bridal gown, she only changed the veil to Aso Oke head tie, the guy used his suit. No tent sef, few people, Wife enter house, Shikena!

Why can't you make both church and traditional wedding invitations minimal.....

The invite is for 10 people abi? No photographers, you won't rent a hall or even canopies, you guys already have the clothes,so, you aren't buying/renting wedding outfits. It's holding in a rural area, so, cost of food items Is relatively cheap.

Then, you're good to go. Even to rent wedding gown alone is at least 20k for something that looks partially decent/acceptable.

I donated the rice
Somebody donated the chicken
Somebody donated cooking it.
That's how they didn't spend a dime on food.

The wedding was done in our church so no finger on venue.
In fact, the only major money problem was when her estranged and useless uncles were looking for almost 100k in bride price and village expenses (Abua Rivers). Mind you, these are people that never assisted the family after her father died. They came down eventually.

So yes, it is possible to do both the traditional and the white wedding with less than 200k.

I bought my suit 12k
Wife wedding gown was made for her with 25k by a tailor.
Paid photo grapher 5k at the rate of #200 per picture.
Bought food from tanterlizer gellof rice with half chicken not full chicken at the rate of #500 per plate 15k in total.
The make up artist that make up my wife collect #2000.
We bought one carton of dubic malt is 24 pieces. Bought additional 6 to make it 30 pieces in other to correspond with 30 plate of food.
We hired a Toyota Camry for 3k he took us to church, and brought us back to the house.
We did not hire any hall for any reception, what we did after the blessing from the priest, we went with the food to church after snapping pictures with the less than 30 people we invited we gave ever one of them the food and one malt. Case closed.i did not even finish the 100k. My brother cut ur cloth according to ur material.
