even scan that is being recommended, will likely not see anything wrong...its just a placebo.

even if perchance, scan sees something wrong, what can anybody do?..most likely nothing.
so sister chilax and pray and hope for the best, finis
go and ~~sin~~ drink alchohol no more..
some women smoke and drink truout their preg, and some end up with healthy babies, doubt 1 glass of wine would cause lasting permanent harm to your baby

My hubby convinced me to have one glass of baileys (alcoholic drink) to celebrate new year. 17% alcohol. He said it won’t do anything. Now I’m just super paranoid, I’m on google, looking for all kind of answers as I’m so scared. I’ve been drinking water non stop to get the alcohol out of my system, but I’m just super worried that it’s affected baby I don’t know why I did this to myself

Awe pele, by His grace your baby is fine. Alcohol is best avoided during the formative early weeks, dont know how far gone you are but i believe the little you took wont harm your baby. Then again when you say glass did you mean a full 33cl? ( a full glass is equivalent to one can drink) or a shot of it? Secondly no amount of water can neutralise alcohol once it has gotten into your blood stream! It will only help you pass it out faster through urine.
Don't beat yourself up over it. One time can't cause damage.

Thank you, I was kind of scared taking medications because I took a lot of them when I kept falling sick in first trimester
The pain is now gone though.

Feeling uneasy and staying awake has become a norm for me now, I had slight contractions some hours ago but thank God we are fine now, this journey ehn, only God himself will take control.

Ma'am, pour ordinary water on your body, take enough water during day(5-6bottles of water) and you can also see your doctor for further investigations.
