Please mamas, help me out, when can one start taking progesterone? Immediately you test positive or until scan picked the pregnancy? When I request for progesterone a doctor told me until pregnancy is established through scan that's when they can administered it, asking in case of next time because I lost it last month.

I started using progesterone@week2 till now. I will advice you to consult another gynecologist before use.

I was placed on cyclogest and gestone injection even though I stopped the injections@12weeks but still taking cyclogest till now. My doctors said I will stop taking cyclogest@28weeks.

Madam, I am also 21weeks plus but my doctors advised me to stop@28weeks.

I used HMO for my own so I did not feel it at all. Cyclogest cost N11,000 for 15days but HMO saved me from extra cost.

In summary Madam, You can't stop unless your doctor ask you to do otherwise.
