When the price was 6.5, i attempted to buy with price limit, Meritrade refused to allow my order to sail through. When i appealed to them, they asked me tp remove the limit. The organisation eventually bought for me at 7.1 when the intraday prices were around 6.5 and the price never got to 7.1 !. It was scandalous. i would not forgive Meritrade for this. That is the way they have always treated me. It is always better for me to buy directly at current price from nse, because i can be lucky at times. But anytime Meritrade guys intervene, its big problem.

Always put a price limit to your mandates. Betterstill, trade yourself.

Where you don't do these, then brokers will use your fund to do market-making towards the end of trade. grin

Market is a brutal arena.

But here we try to be our brother's keeper.

I hope WAPCO faithfuls that complained of not having enough are buying today. I wouldn't want anyone to come and complain again when the stock starts gaining.

The cross-trade that took the stock to 15.30 might still happen again today! Maybe...

The overhead supply in WAPCO is much....
People need to tread carefully....

Thanks, i appreciate. My problem with Meritrade is, they seldom allow my order to sail through, any time i put price limit !

There is no way they will stop your order if you place the trade yourself.
The price limit might not have been met.

Rule number 1: Don't fall in love with stocks

Rule number 2: Even if a stock (based on FA) is wonderful and signals a buy, TA will still be showing sell. And I think the TA people are more than the FAs. So just use the chart and buy into a wonderful company at a low price.

Thanks for these rules

Its just patience you need. I use same platform and some ridiculous limits i put usually sail through from about day 12 onward. Very rarely have i passed that 14 days without getting an order filled. In any case if the 14 days lapse i just repeat the order until it gets filled or until TA indicates that order go hard to fill.

The problem with Wapco, which was why i didn't buy it last November at #14 was that people bought it around August at about #10. Those who bought it at about #10 are now selling. Though, this does not take anything away from the stock. Wapco is a great buy.

Did you mean 14 calendar days? A lot must have happened to the price!

That was a wonderful oppurtunity to offload and make some percentage. The 10M BID was idling at 5.60 and then moved to 6.50.

Wheww.

That is the same building up for UACN.

If you noticed, there was delay in these stocks going further. People are not pricing higher. Weakened momentum.

@ YOK, just put what you have for free here as your new year bonus for new NSEMPA members.
It could bring up further discussions and if any issues are observed, or if someone has 'insider' info, he can point it out, it will also improve the knowledge base of this forum. sometimes there are issues behind the figures and graphs we analyse which are known to some members here. When you are bullish based on charts, such members are laughing at you because they know where their uncles are milking the cow... grin On the day of reckoning, you understand that the milk is not so plenty and the cow too was never taken to The Incredible Dr. Pol during the year... grin

UACN
-Keeps making higher-high
-Weekly resistance needs to be broken above 9, if successful, then price aiming 11, else price will re-visit 6.70 after breaking 8.00

Another example is today. It had the chance to break 9, but it still didn't do it. This is the second time at 8.90.

This shows a weakened momentum.

I won't be surprised if all hell is let loose tomorrow.

People buying WAPCO, UACN should just exercise caution and watch first.

But I hope you know that bids will surface for WAPCO tomorrow. Present BUY zone is below 13.50 and they couldn't show up today because of the last 10% drop.

I doubt WAPCO is going to drop that badly. There wasn't any sustained tempo for the rise it did the other time.

It is not about talking, it is the way you put your message across.
BBM put out the chart in the morning and everybody can see the possibilities.

My point is that there is no certainty in this business, it is all about possibilities and probabilities.
