Thanks my ogas for your response.

As oga Pluto said, let me wait till February to make my decision.

Happy new year Sirs and Madams

Bro, if you have been following this thread you should know by now that nothing is certain in NSE. Rather than go to sleep and come back in February, my advice for you is to continue to watch happenings in the market. Some discount buys might just re-surface in January. Don't come back in February when the party don full and DJ don put volume 4 highest ooo... grin grin grin

my instinct told me to key into this around 2pm at N1...made 7% gain, since it closed at N1.07... cool cool cool

Using Limit Order to buy stocks is really beneficial: The other day, bought ETI @6 and closed at 6.50 same day. FCMB @1.75 closed at 1.80, PZ @5(its 52-week low) closed at 5.56 same day. However, it's quite hard to do sometimes.

Its just patience you need. I use same platform and some ridiculous limits i put usually sail through from about day 12 onward. Very rarely have i passed that 14 days without getting an order filled. In any case if the 14 days lapse i just repeat the order until it gets filled or until TA indicates that order go hard to fill.

Can this be done on Morgan as well?

When the price was 6.5, i attempted to buy with price limit, Meritrade refused to allow my order to sail through. When i appealed to them, they asked me tp remove the limit. The organisation eventually bought for me at 7.1 when the intraday prices were around 6.5 and the price never got to 7.1 !. It was scandalous. i would not forgive Meritrade for this. That is the way they have always treated me. It is always better for me to buy directly at current price from nse, because i can be lucky at times. But anytime Meritrade guys intervene, its big problem.

Sorry for that mishap, we learn everyday. I always make sure that I trade live to enable me carry out my trade well. I bought mine 7.1 too, but I was averaging down.

grin grin Just stick to banks. Don't buy when it is rising. But buy when it falls.

They are forming a rising sinusoidal pattern.

Big players are still in the market.

Really stick to banks now that CBN has crash their cash cow which is Treasury bills and as well slashed all online transaction and ATM charges

Banks revenue will take a hit this year.

INVESTORS BEWARE!

Forget it. Banks have perfected their ways of making profit and growing it. Banks still continued to soar after TSA when many felt their profit will crash. Also, don't forget that they are fully and better seated in Open Market Operations (OMO) after many others have been excluded. With the crash of PMA rate, so many will prefer to leave their money in savings account thus more deposit for the banks to play with. Nigerian banks will surpass your expectation.
