okoroemeka:What distance would you recommend for the plant and urea + npk fertiliser??.,.. distance in cm I mean |
Re: 30k Twice A Week From My Pepper Farm by okoroemeka(m): 10:18pm On Dec 25, 2019 |
Psalmy2cute:a 70% npk and 30% urea mix will not affect a pepper plant even if you pour it on the stem, but it's best to give at least 2-4 inches gap from stem. |

Hello house, how many bags can 500 pepper stand produce on weekly basis |
Re: 30k Twice A Week From My Pepper Farm by Psalmy2cute(m): 8:06pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
Drey4me:about 1 to 2 bags maximum.. but why plant just 500 bags .. if you have just a plot of land .. you can squeeze in upto 800 stands. Even 1k plants is possible.. but management will be difficult.. as the plant branches will tangle with each other.. Tip: if you're planting upto 1k make sure you plant opv seeds |

freshrose:Open pollinated variety (seed) |
Re: 30k Twice A Week From My Pepper Farm by okoroemeka(m): 11:46am On Dec 27, 2019 |
freshrose:open pollinated varieties are seeds from crops that can be saved and replanted from generation to generation and will still retain it's characteristics, unlike seeds from hybrid plant that may not be exact like their parents if their seeds are saved and replanted,we have once saved a yellow hybrid maize and planted next year it turned to white local maize,so essentially opv and heirlooms may mean the same thing, seeds that are non hybrid. 3 Likes |

Re: 30k Twice A Week From My Pepper Farm by okoroemeka(m): 11:16pm On Jan 03, 2020 |
codeQue:the best insight we will get is to plant the crop and see what it will turn to,so if you trust the seller let's buy it and share the seed in half as am suspecting it's 50gram can,you can send my own share through waybill and we will spread the risk. 1 Like |

okoroemeka: Sorry for the late response. I am at the farm, I get to reply messages at night when network is okay. I will sure contact you, but it might not be regarding sharing. I am working on a pepper project of 4ha. This project failed last year, we planted less than an acre and lost 90 percent of it to flood due to poor planning. I've fixed the issues and I'm ready to go again. I'm searching for seeds as we are behind on the quantity to cover the project at hand. My search lead me to that seed. Which we will be planting along side technisem avenir f1 and efia which we are presently transplanting. Fortunately our avenir f1 was not too bad as it has been reported by farmers here. We got over 5k seeds from a can, which is fair (Pix included), we made sure we kept the seeds moist in the nurseries and they grew. You could try the same as well. Keep it moist and not wet. 1 Like

codeQue:How long do you think the plant can stay in the tray?? |
Re: 30k Twice A Week From My Pepper Farm by codeQue: 4:24pm On Jan 06, 2020 |
Psalmy2cute: I am not sure. These stayed these long because of land preparation, drips and mulch laying. However, they are constantly wet with folia fertilizers. From the things i have read, the recommended duration is 3-4 weeks. But IMO this is based on the plant development. |
