its wise in any agric venture your still new in to start small so if you fail the fall will not rattle the ritcher scale,my advice is to scale down from 1 acre to half, use hybrid or proven opv varieties and do the nursery yourself, use organic manure 50/50 with soil in nursery, after transplant apply organic manure in each planting hole and start applying npk 201010+urea fertilizer one plastic spoon each crop every 15 days, any good RED colour habanero or scotch bonnet variety will move market,I can't recommend any variety now the germination issues are playing open monkey with farmers.
What distance would you recommend for the plant and urea + npk fertiliser??.,.. distance in cm I mean

a 70% npk and 30% urea mix will not affect a pepper plant even if you pour it on the stem, but it's best to give at least 2-4 inches gap from stem.

about 1 to 2 bags maximum.. but why plant just 500 bags .. if you have just a plot of land .. you can squeeze in upto 800 stands. Even 1k plants is possible.. but management will be difficult.. as the plant branches will tangle with each other..

Tip: if you're planting upto 1k make sure you plant opv seeds

open pollinated varieties are seeds from crops that can be saved and replanted from generation to generation and will still retain it's characteristics, unlike seeds from hybrid plant that may not be exact like their parents if their seeds are saved and replanted,we have once saved a yellow hybrid maize and planted next year it turned to white local maize,so essentially opv and heirlooms may mean the same thing, seeds that are non hybrid.

I am going back to that lady farmer house to collect saved avenir pepper seed we will use for our nursery,I have seen with my eyes and it works,I am not spending ₦30,000+ on seed that has 20-30% chance of germinating,I rather buy ₦5k saved seed and be sure of 70-80% germination and will give same result, that the lady's farm survived the whole rainy season without any disease infection speaks volumes.

Oga Okoroemeka Abeg I need this seed too oo

the best insight we will get is to plant the crop and see what it will turn to,so if you trust the seller let's buy it and share the seed in half as am suspecting it's 50gram can,you can send my own share through waybill and we will spread the risk.

Sorry for the late response. I am at the farm, I get to reply messages at night when network is okay.
I will sure contact you, but it might not be regarding sharing.
I am working on a pepper project of 4ha. This project failed last year, we planted less than an acre and lost 90 percent of it to flood due to poor planning.
I've fixed the issues and I'm ready to go again.
I'm searching for seeds as we are behind on the quantity to cover the project at hand. My search lead me to that seed. Which we will be planting along side technisem avenir f1 and efia which we are presently transplanting.
Fortunately our avenir f1 was not too bad as it has been reported by farmers here. We got over 5k seeds from a can, which is fair (Pix included), we made sure we kept the seeds moist in the nurseries and they grew. You could try the same as well. Keep it moist and not wet.

I am not sure. These stayed these long because of land preparation, drips and mulch laying. However, they are constantly wet with folia fertilizers.
From the things i have read, the recommended duration is 3-4 weeks. But IMO this is based on the plant development.
